New Line Records just hammered the in-store release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of five-time Tony Award nominated “ROCK OF AGES.” For those of you not in the know, Rock of Ages is the new Broadway musical starring American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis. When i first got the CD i thought wow all my favorite bands/singers and songs. Knowing that the original singers were not going to sing on the CD, i was still hoping it sounded good. unfortunately it was really bad. The guys that were singing sounded like girls. It didn’t even sound like the whole song was sang. Maybe it’s better if you see the actual Broadway show. The CD though as Simon Cowell would say “that was dreadful.” It was whiny and girls were singing songs that were really only meant for a guy to sing. I didn’t like it, but if your a Broadway buff you can find this CD on amazon
