Silk has come out with a new delicious flavor of soy milk, It’s called Pure Silk Almond. New Pure Silk Almond has a lot of health benefits, as well as tasting good.

Each glass provides an excellent source of natural antioxidants, and as much calcium and vitamin D as dairy milk, with absolutely no cholesterol, saturated fat, dairy or soy.  Best of all, a serving of Silk Pure Almond Original almond milk is only 60 calories, and a delicious glass of Vanilla is just 90.

What makes almond milk Silk Pure Almond so healthy?  For starters, it’s the almonds.  Every little nut is a perfectly packaged powerhouse of natural antioxidants and more. In fact, we like to think of almonds as Nature’s Perfect Nutrition – and that’s where our almondmilk begins.

Almonds are recognized by health professionals as a nutritious addition to a healthy diet. A serving of almonds provides an excellent source of vitamin E (a natural antioxidant), and a good source of protein and fiber. In fact, almonds are higher in protein and fiber than any other tree nut.  Plus, they’re naturally low in saturated fat and cholesterol-free.

**** My husband is allergic to milk, so we had already been buying Silk Soy Milk. I have never been a big fan of it though, until I tried The Pure silk Almond. This is really delicious! it looks like glue coming out, but it is very sweet and actually tastes a little like ice cream to me.  My husband actually thinks it’s a little to sweet. It’s definitely worth it to switch over, but I am not sure if I’d actually eat cereal with almond milk. I think it would make a wierd combination, fruit loops and almonds. My entire family liked this milk, even the picky little ones.

  1. My kids can’t drink cow milk so I’m always looking for a tasty alternative. This looks great!

  2. I want to try this milk because soy milk is “supposed” to be healthier for me than cow’s milk and because I haven’t liked any of the other soy milks I’ve tried.
