*****This stuff is so amazing, and I am not saying that just because I am a insider. My family has very sensitive skin and I’m always cautious what I use. I tried this and It did not irritate their skin, and my clothes smelled great for days. I had a little trouble with it leaving some residue behind after washes, but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Retail: $13.00, but I have found them at Kmart and Walmart for around $5.00

Dinosaur Train celebrates National Nutrition Month GiveawayClosed

March is National Nutrition month, and this year the theme is “Eat Right With Color”, it encourages everyone to include a colorful variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and dairy on their plate everyday.

PBS kids want kids to know that even dinosaurs had a healthy diet and are enlisting Dinosaur Train, to help spread the word. You can visit eatright.org for more information.

Here are some great ideas for snacks that are on the website:

  1. Peel a banana roll it in yogurt and dip in cereal then freeze.
  2. Top low-fat yogurt with granola and sprinkle with blueberries.
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on hot popcorn.
  4. Dip pita chips in humus (my fav.)
  5. make a mini sandwich with egg or tuna on a dinner roll.

You can also visit PBS Kids for picnic ideas featuring the Dinosaur Train gang. They also have a song all about poop how its important to go.

Schwanns Is Cooking Dinner For You GiveawayClosed

Schwann’s has been delivering easy to prepare meals to family’s for over 55 years. You can choose the foods you want and never have to leave the house. A great alternative for moms like me at dinner, rather than having to deal with tantrums and misbehaving in the store.

Schwann’s has a new take on dinner and is bringing Italy to your dinner table with their new Baked Ziti, a full meal also featuring five cheese garlic french bread, steamed broccoli florets, and chocolate ice cream.

****I received the full meal mentioned above. After I read some reviews online I was a little worried, a lot of them were not great for the Baked Ziti. I decided to feed it to my kids for lunch and it was so good. Even my pickest eater liked the baked ziti. You can taste more cheese than sauce, but it was great. I cooked it in the oven instead of the microwave, food usually comes out better that way.  The 5 cheese garlic bread was also very good.  My kids said they wanted it everyday! The ice cream, well it was like regular ice cream, chocolate and delicious.

Schwann’s has offered to give one of my readers the full meal mentioned above.
