6 Years ago today I was in the hospital terrified about having a baby, but welcoming my baby girl into the world. I say I was terrified, because I have a lumbar shunt, which wraps around my stomach and makes it very difficult to be pregnant.

anyways…..

My beautiful baby girl arrived in the morning and we were so overjoyed!

  2. I was wondering how long you’ve had the lumbar shunt, I’ve got a lumbar shunt, and 4 peritrnial shunts inserted!

    1. I have had my lumbar shunt for 19 years, they told me it would be to dangerous to remove it.
