Go Pink With Sam’s Club Giveaway Closed

For 5 years, General Mills has partnered with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Foundation to bring breast cancer support to local communities, and this year they are making their annual donation of $2 million to the foundation to advance breast cancer research and support education and community outreach projects.

Purchase specially marked General Mills products like Cheerios and Fiber One 90 Calorie Brownies at your local Sam’s Club and help decide how half of that contribution will be donated by voting at PinkTogether.com from now until April 14, 2012.

General Mills products are so delicious, why not have a great snack while helping a great cause. You get to decide how the money gets donated, to the assistance program or to the treatment program. I would choose the treatment program, just because it is so important that we find cure for cancer. Voting results will be announced on Mothers Day 2012.

To help you support this cause along with purchasing some yummy snacks, I have a $25 Sam’s Club gift card to giveaway is one US reader.

Celebrate Halloween With Costume Supercenter

Halloween is a little over a month away, I am so excited it is my favorite holiday..

I am a little to old to trick or treat (Snicker), but I love being able to dress up my kids and take them around. Every year I let my kids choose their own costumes, and this year my daughter chose a costume from Costume Supercenter. They have a huge variety of kids costumes to choose from.

Their new characters this year are Monster High, Hello Kitty, Disney Newest Princess Rapunzel, and so much more.

My daughter chose Rapunzel!

This costume is so adorable, and perfectly matches Rapunzel’s character. The dress is purple with pink trim, sheer sleeves and a bow with Rapunzel’s picture. The dress also comes with a petticoat and a crown.  The crown is all fabric, but fits heads better as it is more of a head band. The sleeves were a little tight and left bands on her arm, but she didn’t mind. Rapunzel will be celebrating in London in a few days, she is officially becoming a Disney Princess. My daughter will be wearing her costume while she watches.

This costume retails for $46.99

Finally Making Time For Me

Sounds funny doesn’t it? Well it’s the truth.
I have always been the kind of person to put others before myself, always. Thats one of the reasons I am such a insider.

Well I have finally decided that enough is enough, I have let myself go, further than I would like. So I am putting time for me to get back to my old self.

By that I mean losing weight, Yes having 3 kids in 32 months took a big toll on my body. I lost the weight and then gained it back through stress.
My proposal for my weight loss is I am giving myself 1 year, before Blogher 12 to lose 30 lbs. I think I can do it, It’s just going to take a lot of motivation.

Clear skin, yes you read that right. I will be 27 in 2 days and I have the skin of a 15 year old. I have seen a dermatologist and am on Meds to clear up my skin. So hopefully that will work.

Get my teeth fixed, I have always been told by dentist my teeth age faster than my age. A problem that resulted from major head trauma as a child. Well I am hoping to get my teeth fixed as much as I can.
This is me now

In a years Time, I hope to post a pic of a whole new me!
