Being heart healthy has been so important to me, not only because it keeps you healthy. In my family alone we have had heart disease, it’s a scary thing to have to deal with.
It’s been very hard though especially after living in the south and getting use to eating a lot of fried food. I have learned a few ways to always make sure I am serving something that is good for my family. Every meal has a vegetable or fruit, I find little ways to sneak them into meals so the kids don’t know!
