Disclosure: I’ve partnered with Hormel Foods as part of the Hormel Foods Extended Family Blogger Program. Throughout the year I’ll be receiving product, coupons, giveaways and promotions. However, no payment was given or expected for posting about the program, and as always, all opinions given here are fully my own.

My kids and I love quesadillas, but I have never made them at home. I finally decided to try and they turned out really well.

I used Chi Chi’s Fajita Tortillas
Monterey Jack Cheese
Sliced Cooked chicken

I made just cheese and some with chicken.

The recipe is very simple just put a tortilla on skillet on medium heat
add toppings Cheese
wait for it to start to melt.
You can either fold it over or place another tortilla on top. I used another Tortilla.
Wait a few minutes and then flip over with a spatula.
Cook another few minutes when cheese is melted.
Cut and serve.

My daughter absolutely loved these and suggested I start making the meal more, as part of out taco night.

Have you ever made quesadilla’s at home?

Chi Chi’s is a Hormel brand

  1. Yes! The only thing I do differently than your quesadillas is that I always add a bit of Tapatio or Red Taco Sauce!

  2. We make quesadillas with you name it inside! To me its a huge grilled sandwich with cheese and yummy things .
Try making these using pepperoni and mozerella cheese………… and after cutting ‘dip’ them in pizza or spaghetti sauce so yummy!
