Log Cabin, has been making authentic maple tasting syrup for 120 yrs. They named it after President Abraham Lincoln, who grew up in a log cabin.
Log Cabin, a family household tradition since 1887 announced the reformulation of it’s syrup line, by replacing high fructose corn syrup with natural syrup.
the syrup tasted even better than the original, though it wasn’t as thick. everyone in my house loved it and ate their waffles extremely fast. so thats a good sign!
they also come in lite syrup and sugar free.

How can you use “authentic” and “tasting” in the same sentence!!!???
Log cabin is not maple syrup. It’s corn syrup with maple flavoring. If you want authentic you should one of the many brands in a jug (except Log Cabin) that come from New England or upper New York.
Of course that is why Log Cabin is now putting theirs in a jug, to trick people into thinking it is maple syrup, instead of the fake stuff that is usually in bottles like theirs was.
