  25. Water is my favorite element of nature. I love water – in all it’s forms. I live near Lake Michigan and could (and have) spend hours and hours watching the lake and listening to the waves. I used to work in an office with an amazing view of the lake and was constantly amazed by how much it could change. Some days it was a brilliant blue, others gray, sometimes blending into the sky so seamlessly that it was difficult to tell where one stopped and the other started. I love the rain, too. It’s so calming and the smell of the air after a cleansing rain, ahhhhhhhhh. I even love snow. The quiet that enfolds the world during a softly falling snow is like no other silence. The sparkle! Just beautiful!
