March 22, 2010 is World Water Day. Crystal Light powdered beverages help women enjoy drinking water every day, which is why they are collaborating with The Nature Conservancy to protect America’s rivers and lakes, our sources of clean, fresh drinking water.

Crystal Light will Be donating 100% net profits from Crystal Light powered drink mix sold, to The Nature Conservancy. The lake project helps save 5 lakes and rivers including ., including: the Colorado River, Great Lakes Basin, Meramec River (part of the Mississippi river), Potomac River and Southern Rivers.

Here are some tip son how you can save water at home:

1. Reduce your shower time by two minutes – save up to 150,000 gallons of water per month
2. Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth – save 25 gallons of water per month
3.    Defrost food in the fridge instead of under running water – reduce water inefficiency and increase food safety
4.  Run your dishwasher and washing machine only when they’re full – save up to 1,000 gallons of water per month
5. Share water conservation tips with your friends, family and neighbors – spread the word to others

In honor of World Water Day, Crystal Light is offering fans a unforgettable experiance-for one night only, World Water Day Celebration Concert with internationally acclaimed recording artist and nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. 100 percent of the ticket price will go to The Nature Conservancy.
