Sully and Neytiri

*****This movie started out like any army type movie but them got a little more interesting than those types of movies. It is a great movie and has a very strong meaning behind it, but I wouldn’t say its the best movie ever. Just my opinion.  This was my first time seeing this movie and I thought it was not going to be appropriate for kids, and it is. There is a little bit of foul language and fighting scenes but nothing to bad.

Earth day was a great day to release this movie. Scientist, mainly ones who work for big name companies have money to build and take whatever they want. Which was the role of the scientist in the movie. The Na’ Vi of course love nature and will go to great lengths to protect it. I want to be able to share the natural beauty of the earth with my children and teach them how to preserve it.    I think that a lot of people don’t know just how beautiful the rainforest(Pandora) is until you see it first hand.

  1. I have heard so much about this movie but have yet to see it! Everything I read about it sounds great. We wait for DVDs to come out- cant recall the last movie we saw in the theater!

  2. Yup, I’m itching to see it. We’ve heard mainly great things about it and it certainly changed the way folks will make movies.

  3. I went to watch the movie the first day in theatre.

Depends on how you see it, the movie is a bit over-rated unless you are into special effects.

Story line is not original – I watched a lot of Japanese animations.

But in all, it is good movie & my kids like it.

  4. I didn’t know about the code to plant a tree, I’ll have to look for that when we eventually get a copy for ourselves.

  5. Very informative review. I will follow your lead that it is still appropriate for kids, even with the foul language.

    Thank you
