The Vampire Diaries follows the life of Elena Gilbert, who falls for a century-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore. Their lives grow more and more complicated as Stefan’s vicious brother Damon returns to town with a vendetta against his brother. The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history. Other storylines revolve around the other inhabitants of the town, most notably Elena’s younger brother Jeremy, Elena’s friend Bonnie Bennett, who discovers that she is a witch, and their insecure friend Caroline Forbes, who is turned into a vampire.

My favorite couple in season 2 would have to be Caroline and Matt, but I started to realize that maybe Matt would not be the best for her.

A couple I would love to see together: Jeremy and Tyler, Jeremy has had a lot of girlfriends but I have never really liked any and thought they weren’t good for him. Bonnie is kind of the shy, never had a boyfriend type and perfect for Jeremy. I think they make a great couple and I hope they last.
