Work Interfering With Personal Life #WB

In Season 6 of the Closer, Brenda deals with balance of her personal life and work, So it made me think about my struggles and how I balance.

As a mother of three all under the age of 7, being married, and working from home, I often lose my focus between work and personal time. It can be very hard at times since my husband is a grad student and I am working from the computer constantly to find that family time. It’s usually when hubby has time, I don’t or vice versa. It can be very frustrating, but we have all dedicated 1 day a week to spend with each other as a family. Since I am a work at home mom and the kids are out for summer, I am reorganizing my schedule to add in fun activities, reading and learning this summer.

Being married though, as Brenda is to Fritz You always have to make sure to make time for your spouse.

This Is So Cool

We went to a birthday party for one of my daughters friends today. It was at a indoor mini golf/arcade place. (I not going to name the place, since I am not working with them, no free advertising).  Anyway we had a blast and it turned out to be so cool!

It was all glow in the dark, and scary.

I think this place was a little scary for little kids, there is a big monster that roars the whole time.

worst part of summer migraines

Everyone always gets excited over Summer, no school, beach, warm weather etc. Me? I love all those things, but when warm weather hits there is one thing I don’t like Migraines. They are hurtful and last for hours.

When I was 9 I was hit by a car and had very bad injurys including a skull fracture. Well one big one and eighteen little ones. so bumps and lumps are noy uncommon when you touch my head.  Every summer I get migraines and they get worse if i don’t eat.  I have to eat every couple of hours to keep them away. Once I get them though it takes hours to get rid of them, and they are so bad, I can’t move my head at all.

ugh I hate summer

This Is all She wanted Before School Ended

My daughter Kenzie comes home every month with tears in her eyes, she is never chosen as the star student. She couldn’t understand why, she always behaves, does everything asked etc.  I couldn’t explain why.

So yesterday she comes off the bus with the biggest smile on her face trying to hide a blue paper from me.  She finally screamed ” I GOT STAR STUDENT”  She was so excited. good things come to those who wait!
