We go back to school in 2 weeks and I am excited to get back into a routine with the kids. My kids prefer packed lunches to school lunches. They say that sometimes they don’t like what is provided or they don’t have enough time to eat. Rev Wraps are the perfect solution to quick lunches

Embassy Suites Is A Family Friendly Hotel #EmbassySuites

This past weekend we were given a complimentary stay at the Embassy Suites hotel In Buffalo NY.

When we first arrived I was amazed at how big and beautiful the hotel was.

When we first checked in there was a bit of confusion as a guest had a last name similar to mine and the room were mixed up. We got it all sorted out though and walked into the biggest hotel room I have ever seen. It was complete suite with a separate bedroom, and living room, a big bathroom and a kitchenette complete with a mini fridge and microwave. Plus the views from the 6th floor were amazing.

The first thing my kids wanted to do when we arrived was swim. The Embassy Suites has a indoor pool and spa. My kids loved it.

When we came back from the pool, we were pleasantly surprised with some goodies the hotel staff had left us for the room mix up with a lovely note.

Embassy Suites has a complimentary breakfast, and if you stay in a suite you can get made to order breakfast. Either way the breakfast is delicious and very kid friendly. They had things like cereal, eggs, sausage, and other things.

There are so many kid friendly things to do around Embassy Suites Buffalo. The waterfront and Naval yard are only a few short miles.

There is the Buffalo Zoo, they also have a baby Rhino and Baby Gorilla.

Niagara Falls is only 30-45 minutes away and is a must see, if you are in the area.

Buffalo is known as the home of the orginal Buffalo wings, the Anchor Bar and Duffs are in the area and a great place to try for lunch and dinner.

I would definitely recommend staying here when you travel to Buffalo.

First Vacation In 5 Years

So we just got back from our first vacation in 5 years. We decided to go on a upstate Ny adventure. Going through the adirondacks, Albany and Finally Buffalo NY. It was a long tiring adventure, but fun.    There is so much to do and see in Buffalo and upstate NY. First off, the trip through up state NY is so scenic and gorgeous.

Then when you hit Buffalo there is so much to do like Niagra Falls, the navy shipyard. They even had  the Corpse flower on display, a rare flower that smells like death and dies within days of blooming.

I Hate The Dentist

Yes, there I said it.

I hate the dentist and as i get older it just makes it worse. I have had dental problems for as long as I can remember. With all the work I have had done over the years, just doesn’t mean anything. My cavities break or my former dentist didn’t do them right etc.

So now I am on another road of getting dental work done, and honestly the hardest part for me is the shot. I hate it and it hurts more than any other shot I have every had.

So to ease my pain and yours, here is a funny dental selfie.

Halloween Costumes Are Fun For Dress Up

Halloween is fast approaching and my kids are finally deciding what they want to be. You can never have to many costumes, and my kids love to play dress up so we get them early.

My daughter has been going back and forth with what costume she wanted, a batgirl, cat woman, Monster High, she just couldn’t decide. This year though I convinced her to go with something scary, like something you would see in old horror movies.

We searched Scary Costumes, but everything was to gory for her. She still wanted a it to be dressy, I finally found the Forsaken Souls costume and it was perfect.

She was very hesitant about it and wanted something else, but I new she would love it so I ordered it anyway. The minute she saw it she loved it. I couldn’t get her to take it off after she tried it on. She has been playing dress up with it everyday.

Every detail on this dress is just beautiful. The costume includes a black and white dress with wide sleeves and skirt, also has attached hood. The dress has forsaken soul images, their eyes empty and mouths wide open with silent screams.

Stop and Shop has Great Deals going on #StopandShop

Living on the East coast has it’s perks, one of them is having Stop and Shop as a grocery store. They have tons of great deals going on.

Plus, one of the main reasons I shop there is for the Scan It feature.

The Scan It option lets you use a scan gun while you shop to keep track of what you are buying and price. I love it, because it helps me stay on budget.

Stop and Shop has a great deal going on for the rest of the week when you buy a name brand product you get the same product just the Stop and Shop brand for free.
