The shoes have the signature police lights and front headlights. My favorite part of the shoe is the lights have a on/off button to control when the shoes blink. I hate when your in a theater and someone is walking around with light up shoes.

Isaac has some of the cutest fashions available for fall.

images

The collection is hitting stores this August, an is made up of bright colors and fun phrases.  Some of the shirts say Hooray!, Really?, or are full of sparkles.   It’s everything that my kids love in clothes, sparkles, fun, and colors.

We got to try a few outfits for our Back To School guide.

This sparkly heart shirt goes with everything, and really stands out.

My daughter loves this outfit. The Hooray shirt is so fun, and the leopard print leggings just add to the pizazz.

The shirts have a silky quality to them instead of being cotton, and the leggings are more like jeggings with a zipper and buttons. I would also suggest checking the sizing chart as the clothes seeed to be a bit on the larger side. The leggings were very long.

Pieces range from $25-$100

Disney’s Planes Soars Through the Sky #DisneyPlanes #Movies

securedownload

My family and I were invited to a screening of Disney’s Planes before it opened in theaters. It got off to a rocky start as the movie kept malfunctioning, but once it started my kids were very excited.

Planes is about a crop duster who wants to be a racer, the only problem is he is afraid of heights. Through his training he is mentored by a old fighter pilot, as well as a gas truck and forklift. His dream is to win the Wings Around the Globe race.

My son who is a big cars fan loved this movie, the bright colors and characters are enough to keep young children’s attention focused. It was a very good movie with a few parts that could scare a small child like a 10 second plane fighting scene. Planes has a lot of charcters you will remember from Cars and Cars 2, like Brent Mustangburger, the Sushi Chefs, and the tractors.

I couldn’t help but feel a lot of similarities to Cars and Cars 2. There is the rookie taking lessons from a mentor, Lightning McQueen with Doc Hudson and in Planes Dusty with Skipper. Propwash Junction is a small town not on the map, just like in Cars. The race around the world, and more.

It is a good movie though for the smaller crowd. I will be taking my son to see the movie again, since he liked it so much.

Disney’s Planes” is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing—and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.

Letter From President Obama #Obama #fun

Just sharing some fun information with my readers

My daughter had sent a letter to President Barack Obama, she drew him a picture and said how happy she was that he was president etc. etc.

It took like 6 months or more, but she finally got a response. It was not personal at all. A typed letter saying dear student, thank you for your support etc.

It also had autographed pictures and a interview with him.

It’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but to a 7 year old it’s everything!!

Toys R Us has all the best in toys and activities. When it comes to back to school though, they always have what the kids love. They have great deals too.

One of my most favorite deals for back to school is their buy a backpack, get a lunchbox free. We go every year and get the kids two each. They carry so much stuff that usually by the middle of the year they need a new one.

My kids love getting their favorite character backpacks, and matching lunchbox.

My kids chose Monster High, Hello Kitty and Hot Wheels. My son was so excited the Hot Wheels backpack even came with a free Hot Wheels car.

Back To School With Post Its Mobile

Disclosure: No formal compensation was received for this post. A product was received for my review. All opinions are my own.

Post It’s have gone Mobile! well technically they have always been mobile, but now they are so much easier to carry and use.  The mobile Post It’s are designed to keep you organized while your on the go, where ever you are.

IMG_0545

The products:

  • Attach and Go Notes and Tabs Clip dispenser
  • Mobile attach and go Car Visor  Pop-up Note Dispenser
  • Attach and Go Full Adhesive Pad
  • Attach and Go Flags Dispenser
  • Attach and Go Notes an Tab Dispenser
  • Attach and Go Insert
  • Attach and Go 3-1 Pen

The Mobile Attach and Go products have made it so much easier around the house getting ready for school.   I have put the full adhesive pad on my laptop and Car Visor Pop Up Dispenser in my car, for those last minute items I may think of on my way to the store.   The pad on my laptop is great for when I am working, to write down notes and ideas without having to search for paper.

My favorite product of the bunch is the Attach and Go 3-1 Pen. This is now the pen that I use constantly. The pen is a black in pen on one side, a yellow highlighter on the other. Then the cap has a flag dispenser on it, for when you need to hold your place ina  book or mark papers you have already worked on etc.

Sharing A Childhood Favorite With My Kids

Disclosure: No compensation at all was received. This is a free show presented by the Huntington Arts Council.

When I was younger I would watch Lamb Chops Playhouse, yes I watched it. My mother complained all the time, she hated “This is The Song That Doesn’t End”

I loved it though! Unfortunately Sherry Lewis passed away in 1998 and the show stopped.

A few years later her daughter took over and played Lamb Chop. 13 years later I finally got to introduce my children to Lamb Chop, as Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop came to our town.

It wasn’t exactly the same as Mallory has made the show her own, but it was still great to have my kids experience one of my childhood favorites.
