today is my hubbys 27th birthday.
i don’t know if you read my blog, but i love you happy birthday
this past weel my mom came for a visit. we live in nc. and she lives in az., so we haven’t seen each other in 3 years. well she’s never met two of my children. so you could imagine how excited the meeting was.
it was so hard to see her leave, my son became so attached to her
grandma and her three grandbabies.
as my kids get older they get into more trouble. today at the store i was just thinking about some of them and thought it would make a good post.
my three year old jetting through the store and me having to chase after her. other people look at me like i’m crazy and i want to scream, but thats a toddler for ya.
my two yr old sitting in the airport, blurts out the word F####. yes i know i blame myself and hubby for her knowing that word.
my 14 month old falling asleep in the shopping cart and having people comment that his head is laying on the bar of the shopping cart. hey my son is 30 pounds and i can barely carry him.
5 minutes for mom has a new colum 5 minutes for photography. they show new and fun ways to take pics of your kids or anyone.
heres how mine turned out
from below
i am a bad photographer. there is like a 5 second delay on my camera. so when it finally takes the picture, they look away or blink
my 14 month old is driving me crazy. he screams all the time, and i mean worse than a little girl. i don’t understand it, why. my two oldest were never like this.
he sees me making food, he screams until he gets some. his sisters are doing something without him, he screams. I thought it was just an attention thing, but i will hold him and he’ll scream in my ear in my arms.
it started out as ear infections. now the ear infections are gone, and he’s still screaming all the time.
i don’t know what to do and the doctor doesn’t either.it’s taken a big toll on my life. i have constant headaches. it’s taken a toll on my marriage as well as my daily activities.
right now i’m typing with him in my arms screaming.
has anyone had this same problem? any suggestions
i’m very proud of my 3 year old kenzie. she has been potty trained since august of 2008, and has never had an accident. not even at night.
my fustration is i can’t stand taking her anywhere. the grocery store, a mall nothing. it seems like she has to go every 20 minutes when we are out. an hour trip to the grocery store, she’ll go 3 times. they don’t really make it very convienant either. the bathrooms are always on the other side of the store.
i have a 2 yr old in pull ups. i wish they would make those things more durable. it seems like i have to change them every 20 minutes.
i have a 1 yr old in diapers too.
very fustrating
halloween and then christmas approaches. usually around this time of year i’m okay, i prepare all my gifts way in advance. this year has me a little worried. with the economy being in a shamble, and my mil passing, plus a ton of other unforseen exspenses. i just don’t see it happening this year. honestly it’s really got me entering as many contests as i can. thats going to be my main source for now on christmas gifts. god this really sucks. i’m sure there are a ton of other people in my situation.
i’m starting to wonder why some states don’t have a program for children in need. i know there is toys for tots and thing like that but there are certain guidelines to be elidable. at least thats what i was told.
well it took like what seemed forever but my daughter is almost fully potty trained. the acception is nighttime and the road. we are getting there.
i started out trying to get her to use the potty at age 2, she did really good for a while, than gave up. for a while she refused to have anything to do with the potty. so i let it go(bad on my part i know). a couple weeks after she turned 3 i tried a new tactic, a friend advised.
take your daughter into the potty with you when you go. have a little potty for her of course. it worked really well my daughter wasn’t shy of using the potty anymore. she still wasn’t going all the time.
so i put panties on her all the time. she was having accidents all the time, but after a while she got tired of being wet and relized i wasn’t going to give up and put a pull up on her. success
so my advice to all who are having trouble with potty training. take your child with you to the potty.
what tactics worked for you when you potty trained your child?
