moochers

it’s a mothers progrative to do what ever she can for her child. no matter what age the child is. a mother could never throw her child on the streets. when a child reaches adulthood. it becomes more of a fustration, if your child has no where to go, no job etc.  what are you going to do? how are you going to proceed? of course your going to let your adult child live at home, and do what you can. when do you say enough s enough. when does the mooching become to much?

i see this happening a lot even in my own family, and i’m in disbelief.  the main question i have is when do you finally give up, and say no more mooching? what lengths should you go to help your adult child?

please i need a laptop

i don’t have a extraordinary circumstance, but am hoping i qualify in the running for a new hp laptop at 5 minutes for mom. please consider my family for a nod. this may not be a heartwarming story, but this is more about educational costs and family time.

when i blog, i use a desktop and i don’t seem to mind it. except when i need to fight with my husband over the computer. he is in college his last year before he graduates, but he is planning on going to graduate school and persue his phd. so we have a long way to go. a laptop will be in reach then but not now.

please nominate my family for a laptop. as i believe it would help us tremendously between me being able to continusously blog and my husband being able to take it to school.  it is actually a requirement to have a laptop in the up coming school year.  (i’m crying right now, even thinking that this could ever happen.) this would make my dreams come true.my hubby has been wanting one for so long. everytime we get ready to buy one, the kids need something. thats more important.my husband spends majority of his time at school, due to the fact of the kids misbehaving and concentration issues. (emailed 5 minutes for mom). a laptop would let him go upstairs or even outside and work. he’s be closer to home than 45 minutes away where his school is

we do not have cell phones. probably one of the few in the world. this would be a great way for my hubby to keep in touch during class. we’ve already had a instant where my daughter cracked her head open and i had to rely on neighbors for help.

a little info on my husband schooling, he is persuing his degree in chemistry, with a concentration in biochemistry. we eventually wants to become a professor at a university. he tells me about all this research he does and i get sick. but he comes home with images from the massspectrometer and downloads them on our computer, than writes a million pages. okay that was an exaggeration. we go through a black ink cartridge ina week. thats how much data and notes he goes through. this laptop if i win is mainly fo rhim, with his education. since we have about 5-9 more years of college.

i agree that having a laptop makes blogging so much easier. thats one reason i want it. blogging is my big passion right now. my way to the outside is the internet. that sound pathetic i know. i began blogging just for the contests, but it has grown into a way to make dear friends, share parenting tips and problems, and even sometimes a way to vent. even though those never get published. i don’t have any friends.  to be continued hubby needs computer ( iam so embarassed. i wish he’d just let me finish the post. school is more important than blogging. i apoligize again.   My friends are on the internet. my family is in california and arizona and i am in north carolina. so the computer is mainly the way i keep in touch with my family. we do have a phone, but whenever i get a call. i have two little girls fallow me around saying i want to talk.  plus my family have never met my youngest daughter and my son. so i send pics constantly.

so i would really like a laptop to help with my husbands education. and so we don’t fight over the one i’m on right now!

**i am adding this 8/23/08. this is actually become so much more now. my mother in law, recently passed and my husband sold back his textbooks. to pay for her funeral, so this would really help. as they have e books now

it’s almost vacation time!

i am in need of a good vacation. i haven’t went on a actual vacation in 4 years. since i had kids.     my hubby gets out of school the 31. so he has a 20 day vacation before school starts again. we decided we are going to florida!

i have never been to florida  so i am so excited.  he has family out there, so i mean we will be visiting people. we are going to hit the beach definitly.  my daughter wants to go to disney but we do not have the money to go. it’s 70 per person. thats to much for my family.

there really isn’t a lot to do on the alantic coast where our family lives. it seems most everything is on the gulf coast. i found the pelican wildlife refuge, manatee observation center and the brevard zoo. so those might be fun. i’m just happy to get out of this little town.

do you know of any fun things to do in or around melbourne fl?

fathers day

for fathers day this year, i am planning nothing special. i got my husbanda personalized mouse pad and a flash drive.  i am going to take him out to dinner, probably at chilis. nothing fancy we will have three kids with us.  we invited my brother in law, although he might have to work. we usually make like a big family dinner thing. not this time, just want something small.  what are your plans for fathers day this year?

the first swim

It got hot enough for me to bring out our little pool and set it up. This is the first swim for my kids.   Now we live in a apt. and there are no hose connections, so I had to fill up a bucket like 7-8 times to get the pool filled. It was worth it though! We do have a pool in the apartments, but it’s always overcrowded and to many people do crazy things (don’t follow rules) not the best atmosphere for 3 kids all under the age of 4.

My girls had a lot of fun, they preferred to wrestle, and get most of the water on the side walk. My son is almost six months and he got into the action to, not the wrestling. He had a blast though. He was splashing and giggling, it was so cute.

The first swim is always fun when they are little.

the kid in me 2

I have three kids and it’s easy for me to have fun with them. I am a big kid at heart. I love a zoo that really brings the kid out in me, getting to see animals and being outdoors. It’s very fascinating. I take my kids there all the time, just to feel young again and be energized.

Chuck E Cheese and the arcade are a definitly must to me. there are so many great games that bring the kid out in me, driving a race car, or winning a stuffed animal. Oh and the park going on the swings is so much fun.

The fair, now i haven’t been there in a couple years, the rides especially the bumper cars and ferris wheel. It makes me just feel free and very relaxed. It’s so much fun, the cotton candy and playing the games. All combined together, It makes you the happiest person in the world . Laughing and getting to be my self, without having worries is the best part of the kid in me. ( i am a mother though so worries do happen a lot.)

My childhood was a blur growing up my parents were never around. So anything i can do to feel like a kid again, you can bet your bottom dollar i’m there!!!!!!!!!!!!
