I have never seen any of the Night At the Museum movies, and will be having a viewing party tomorrow of all 3 movies. I am so excited. I will be live tweeting during the movie.

Finally A Bed He Likes

I have been struggling to get my 7 year old to sleep in his own bed all night. He ha our own bed, a queen size bed all to himself.

He will get scared in the middle of the night and sneak into my room or his sisters room to sleep. I have tried different things to get him to sleep in his own room to no avail.

Finally we agreed on if I bought him bed sheets that he liked, he would start sleeping in his own bed. So I agreed. I never thought of it because we had so many bed sets already.

But he finally has his own set up. Finally a bed he likes.

Lets hope it works in the long run.

We found these complete bed set at Kmart for $35.99, and decided on it because it was mostly red and black. The colors of Lightning McQueen.

Gearing Up For The Playoffs #HormelFamily #Playoffs

The playoffs are this weekend and we will be watching as a family. We aren’t rooting for any particular team, but it’s quality time together and something we all enjoy.

When the playoffs are on, we always get lots of snacks and food for the 6 hour playoffs. There is 2 games so plenty of food.

Our favorites to have on hand are of course Chi Chi’s chips and salsa, that is usually the first app that gets eaten. ChiChi’s Tortilla Rounds are perfect corn crisp chips, we paired it with mild thick and chunky salsa, and also salsa con queso.

My kids love cheese and crackers, so I always make sure to have those on our family nights. I love Hormel party trays, because it’s no mess and easy to prepare. I picked up a new tray to try which consists of Crackers cheese and Turkey. I have always loved Turkey more than any other lunch meat. So this was one of my favorite snacks and a little healthier too.

I Just Love Picture Day

Yesterday was picture day, it’s the one day that I can get my kids to have big smiles and don’t complain about being dressed up.

You would think being a blogger, my kids would smile for pictures all the time. Nope, they hate them.

Growing Up I had horrible hygiene. I rarely brushed my teeth and never used floss, I hated it. I come from a family with so many oral problems, and gum disease, I just figured I was bound for the same.
Now that I am a Adult, I realize how wrong I was for not caring and am paying the price of never using floss. I need a lot of work but have stepped up my game to prevent any more problems. I brush and rinse twice a day. I have a water pick flosser and use a dental flosser as well.
Now that I have kids of my own, I am making sure they take good care of their teeth. Making Sure that make a habit out it.

I am using LISTERINE products with my kids and showing them the proper way to care for their teeth. LISTERINE offers dental floss, as well as a picker, mouthwash for kids and adults. First Vacation In 5 Years

So we just got back from our first vacation in 5 years. We decided to go on a upstate Ny adventure. Going through the adirondacks, Albany and Finally Buffalo NY. It was a long tiring adventure, but fun.    There is so much to do and see in Buffalo and upstate NY. First off, the trip through up state NY is so scenic and gorgeous.

Then when you hit Buffalo there is so much to do like Niagra Falls, the navy shipyard. They even had  the Corpse flower on display, a rare flower that smells like death and dies within days of blooming.

End Of School Year Fun

Most kids, specially on the West Coast and Central USA are already out of school. Here in Long Island we still have 4 days of school left.
So the kids have been having tons of celebrations in school.
