potty training fustration

i’m very proud of my 3 year old kenzie. she has been potty trained since august of 2008, and has never had an accident. not even at night.

my fustration is i can’t stand taking her anywhere. the grocery store, a mall nothing. it seems like she has to go every 20 minutes when we are out.  an hour trip to the grocery store, she’ll go 3 times. they don’t really make it very convienant either. the bathrooms are always on the other side of the store.

i have a 2 yr old in pull ups. i wish they would make those things more durable. it seems like i have to change them every 20 minutes.

i have a 1 yr old in diapers too.

very fustrating

holidays and the worries they bring

halloween and then christmas approaches.  usually around this time of year i’m okay, i prepare all my gifts way in advance. this year has me a little worried.  with the economy being in a shamble, and my mil passing, plus a ton of other unforseen exspenses. i just don’t see it happening this year.   honestly it’s really got me entering as many contests as i can.  thats going to be my main source for now on christmas gifts.  god this really sucks.  i’m sure there are a ton of other people in my situation.

i’m starting to wonder why some states don’t have a program for children in need. i know there is toys for tots and thing like that but there are certain guidelines to be elidable. at least thats what i was told.

it’s time!

my birthday is in a week. well 6 days. i’m not getting anything, which is okay with me.(i mean that seriously, just don’t have the money right now) bigger priorties, than my birthday. SO IT’S BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY WEEK. CHECK BACK EVERYDAY FOR NEW GIVEAWAYS

anyways i’m giving you gifts. i would of madea button but i don’t know how.

so enjoy!

potty training success

well it took like what seemed forever but my daughter is almost fully potty trained. the acception is nighttime and the road. we are getting there.

i started out trying to get her to use the potty at age 2, she did really good for a while, than gave up. for a while she refused to have anything to do with the potty.  so i let it go(bad on my part i know). a couple weeks after she turned 3 i tried a new tactic, a friend advised.

take your daughter into the potty with you when you go. have a little potty for her of course.  it worked really well my daughter wasn’t shy of using the potty anymore. she still wasn’t going all the time.

so i put panties on her all the time. she was having accidents all the time, but after a while she got tired of being wet and relized i wasn’t going to give up and put a pull up on her. success

so my advice to all who are having trouble with potty training. take your child with you to the potty.

what tactics worked for you when you potty trained your child?

big announcement

i thought it would be fun to give you the gifts. so starting monday i will have a week long a giveaways. some of my sponsors are planet moms t shirts, hip t, save the tatas, precious moments and much more

moochers

it’s a mothers progrative to do what ever she can for her child. no matter what age the child is. a mother could never throw her child on the streets. when a child reaches adulthood. it becomes more of a fustration, if your child has no where to go, no job etc.  what are you going to do? how are you going to proceed? of course your going to let your adult child live at home, and do what you can. when do you say enough s enough. when does the mooching become to much?

i see this happening a lot even in my own family, and i’m in disbelief.  the main question i have is when do you finally give up, and say no more mooching? what lengths should you go to help your adult child?

depression

i think i’m suffering from depression. it’s like everything is hitting me at once. i take care of three kids, all under the age of 4. pretty much with no help. my husband is never home and when he is he’s hiding in his room. my mother in law just died and it’s been tough on all of us, exspecially my 3 year old. my dh is incharge of her estate and will not let me help. he says it’s not my place. which is ok i understand to some extent. i still feel like i’m not part of the family.. so yeah i’m depressed. anyone offer any advice.

i usually don’t get to personnal, but i’m on the edge of my seat and don’t know what to do
