my husband served in the military for 4 years on active duty. he served two years in iraq. when he got out he went on a year in the national gaurd.  everything was pretty much handed to him in the army. great benefits, great pay, they had days where you could eat free at restaurants, or even get into the fair or amusment parks for free.  now that he is back to civillan life. everything is tarnished.

i feel like when your a veteran no one appreciates you, they only care when you are on active duty.  people won’t even offer jobs to veterans. i mean there are the people who will come up and say thank you and shake your hand. which is always greatful. there are also the people who look at you like your crazy.

the war had some effect on my husband but he came back the same kindof. his main problem is he has a short fuse now. the main point is i wish people, companys, america would treat veterans of the iraq and afganistan war the same  as they treat active duty.

sorry iam working on the contest round up right now. my computer is being so slow

i’m gaining to much wieght. dieting is hard for me. i had 3 kids in 3 years so i put on alot. from 120 to 145, and i’m only 5’3″. when i was pregnant i never really had any cravings. my problem was my husband was in iraq and  i was dpressed. so i ate out or junk all the time. now that i’m not pregnant, i crave even more things than i did when i was pregnant.

one of the bad things about living on the east coast is the two things i’m craving, they don’y have here. wienersnitzel(i think thats spelled wrong) and jack in the box. those are more west coast restaurants. i guess it’s better there is not a wienerschnitzel out here. i’d eat there everyday.   my biggest challange is soda. i am a soda aholic, i have so much trouble giving it up.

how do you deal with your cravings? how do you fight them?

thanks so much to everyone that entered. i can relate to almost everyone.   i don’t have much help. my husband is wrapped up in his studies. no family around, well my mil but she’s not much help.

 i have a 3 yr, 2 yr and 6 month old. so i am on my feet constantly.

training two to use the potty with little luck. they refuse to wear panties.

they all wake up at night at different times. so i get maybe 5 hours if that a night.

my 2 and 3 year old have picked up on bad words

i clean the house just so it can get dirty 2 min later.

my girls fight over everthing

i can go on forever

todays contests might be up tonight if i can even get to them at all. dh is staying home and working on his 5 page paper, so i probably won’t be able to get on the computer. yea i am actualy a blogger without a laptop(probably the only one). if i don’t get to them today i ‘ll try and combine tomorrows

i am shocked and outraged at this story. this gives me more reason to hate bush. now i understand we need oil and gas, but this is rediculous.

Less than a month after declaring polar bears a threatened species because of global warming, the Bush administration is giving oil companies permission to annoy and potentially harm them in the pursuit of oil and natural gas.

Environmentalists said the new regulations give oil companies a blank check to harass the polar bear. for more of this article read it here

 

i read this in my sunday paper and was heartbroken. this is horrible to give permission to kill of a animal that is already in danger due to global warming. best bet find other sources of energy. spend money on trying to fight global warming, energy alternatives.
