Wubbzy is getting his own movie

A new wubbzy movie has been coming out every month it seems. well this month he is getting his own movie. He stars in Wubbzy’s Big Movie. So grab your poppity popcorn and enjoy the new movie. Packed with 82 feature length minutes of laughs and adventures, the new title spotlights seven episodes, stitched together with original footage produced exclusively for Wubbzy’s Big Movie!

When Wubbzy loses his memory, his friends help him to recall who he is by reminding him of all the good times they’ve had together. take a look back at episodes from the first season. making marshmallow lasagna, splashing in puddles on picture day, watching scary movies can make you afraid of the dark, are just some of the fun.

WE really loved this movie, it was bit hard to follow as it jumped around a bit, but we all loved watching the new scenes that were added in the movie. we have seen all the episodes.  i love how much friendship is shown in this movie. Walden and Widget try everything they can to get Wubbzys memory back, they never give up! This DVD is  jam packed full of fun for all preschoolers.

Dudley’s solo review

   I recieved a great childrens book to review. Dudley’s solo. The book was very fun and my daughter took to it immediatly. she wanted to read it over and over.  so after a couple times, she had to read on her own(try at least she’s only 4).

dudley is deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from being just like the other kids in children’s band.  Even though he can’t hear or speak he manages to amaze everyone and fit in with his own solo at the choir concert.

I really like this book, it has a great message. Just because someone is different doesn’t mean they can’t fit in. i tried to explain that to my daughter and tell her not to treat people different either.

i would recommend reading this to your child it is a great book

Over the past seven years, Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories has given away more than 35 million children’s books by distributing them free inside cereal boxes and has donated nearly $3 million to First Book, their non-profit partner, which provides books to children from low-income families.

In addition to encouraging children to read, Cheerios is looking for anyone interested in writing children’s books. Now in its third year, the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories New Author Contest is a way to encourage previously unpublished, up-and-coming children’s book authors and to continue to nurture a love of reading. Entries are being accepted March 16 through July 15, 2009 and will be judged on appropriate story and content for children ages 3-8, emotional connection, writing quality, uniqueness, and read-aloud potential. Shellie Braeuner, the first year’s winner, won for her book “The Great Dog Wash”. This nanny from Nashville won a $5,000 cash prize and the opportunity to have her book reviewed by Simon and Schuster Children’s Publishing. Simon & Schuster offered Shellie a book deal – and will publish her book, illustrated by Robert Neubecker, in hardcover this summer. In addition, Cheerios will be featuring “The Great Dog Wash” free inside 1.5 million boxes of Cheerios. The book has been specially printed in paperback in both English and Spanish and will be available free inside boxes of Cheerios this spring.

Cheerios is also announcing the winners of the second New Author Contest:

  • Lori Degman, of Vernon Hills, Ill., won the top prize for her story, “1 Zany Zoo.” In addition to winning a $5,000 cash prize from Cheerios, Degman earned the opportunity to have her book reviewed by Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing. Simon & Schuster has since offered Degman a book deal; her book is expected to be released in 2010, initially in paperback distributed inside Cheerios boxes, and later in hardcover sold in the market.
  • Cheerios also named two runners-up in the contest: Tameka Fryer Brown, of Charlotte, N.C., for her story “I’m Not Eating That!” and Joan Stradling, of Star Valley, Ariz., for her story, “Who Invites a Pig to Dinner?” Both Brown and Stradling will receive a cash prize of $1,000 from Cheerios.

Hotel For Dogs

i don’t own a dog, and don’t really want one at this point. well until we own a house. my daughter loves dogs, so the closest she gets right now is her fur real friends biscuit the dog.

so when i was given Hotel For Dogs to review, my kids were super excited. The box even had a little dog toy in it.(i’ll be sending to my dog at my mothers house). This animal adventure shows just how far friendship and imagination can take you.

When two orphans find themselves in a foster home with a strict no pet policy, and have no where to hide their dog Friday. They set out to find a home for him. they end up finding a abandoned hotel, where they say no stray is turned away.  filled with tears and laughter this movie is a sure hit for anyone.

My family and I really enjoyed it. i even cried when the kids were being seperated.  the dogs were adorable, and my kids are setting out to try and learn everyones name.

Ragu has new exciting flavors

Growing up i always loved spaghetti and we ate it a lot. it’s inexpensive, easy to make and a kid pleas-er.  Noodles sauce meat and some bread what could be simpler.

I’ve always loved Ragu’ssauce, full serving of veggies in every 1/2 cup of pasta sauce.  Ragu introduces it’s two new flavors

Sweet tomato basil-with three picky toddlers i was nervous to try some of the Delicious recipes Ragu offers, so i stuck with good ol spaghetti.  here are the reactions

i liked it a lot it did taste, it tasted like pizza sauce a little (oregano) Delicious though.

Margherita flavor-we decided to make pizza with this sauce, since it’s ingredients consist of tomatoes, pizza seasonings ans mozzarella cheese. we made a simple pizza with Pillsbury pizza dough, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. It turned out very well and actually tasted like ordered out pizza. (i would of taken a picture but it was gone before i had a chance). hubby is allergic to dairy, so  the kids and I were the only ones to try this one. The kids asked if we could make it everyday, that’s how delicious it was
