I haven’t been on here in a while, as I’ve been battling some sadness. My kids always find a way to cheer me up with this love notes though.
Celebrate Football Season with PopCorn Factory

Stomp Out Bullying Today October 3, 2016
Today is Stomp Out Bullying Day, a day to come together and stand up to bullying.
Each year on the first Monday of October kids, teens, and adults all across the country all across the country wear blue shirts in a show of solidarity against bullying to make that the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world. This important day gives students a unified voice and empowers those who are so often silent to be able to speak out together.
I do not stand for bullying at all, it’s the one thing I do not condone. As a child I was severely bullied because of a car accident that left me scared and I had to learn to control my left side from a stroke. It continued through being a teenager and even as a adult I still get bullied from people.
It was so bad as a teenager that I thought about suicide and doing horrible things to myself. It was just awful. No child should ever have to suffer at the hands of someones jealousy or hate. It’s the worst feeling in the world.

Biz Stainfighter Works on Carpets, Cars and More

Then I moved to the East Coast and there wasn’t one around. Now that I am back on the west coast, I am excited to eat there again.

Set the Mood For Date Night With Pro-Flowers
I rarely ever have date night, our lives are so busy and with three kids it makes it all more difficult. When we do have a “date night” it includes a movie at home and popcorn and dinner with the kids first. We were traveling through Berkeley and took the scenic route. You can see the beginning of the Bay Bridge, but there is so much cloud cover you can’t see San Francisco.

Amazing (mostly Edible) Science Review
We are a big science family. My kids specially love it, collecting data and watching the results is their favorite. Their favorite experiments are done in the kitchen. Science and cooking mixed is like a dream for them.
We received Amazing (Mostly Edible) Science book and my daughter has been non stop with trying all the recipes (experiments).
She has tried so many like the 5 minute ice cream, it turned out good but was a bit messy.
Right now she is working on making her own pickles from scratch, which can take up to a week. Her love for pickles has her waiting though.
The recipe in the book is a simple one.
You basically need a jar, cucumbers, salt water and a few other ingredients. Put them all together and let them sit for a few days until they become pickles.
This experiment will cost you less than $5 and is so simple. After about 3 days the jar definitely started to smell like pickles.
They turned out a little to sweet and not as tangy as we like our pickles. We had to do the experiment a second time as the first time, the pickles started getting mold. But with every experiment you should do it a couple times. So we will keep doing it until we get the results right.
