The packages come in 6oz packages as well as individual bags for the original only.

I was a bit skeptical that anyone in my family would like these because they are so picky, but I am on a mission to eat healthier so I wanted to try them.
I was surprised everyone loved them even my kids liked them. My husband wanted to make sure he wasn’t being punched and that these were healthier so he compared the ingredients and nutrition facts to our regular bag of tortilla chips. They are so much healthier and better for you. He was really impressed by that and the taste. Let me tell you that doesn’t happen very often.

As a mother of three I am always looking for healthy snacks on the go. Everyday my kids get home from school they want a snack, we go to the park snack. So I always try and make sure i have something healthy to give them.

Atkins Harvest Trail Bars are perfect for on the go snacking. The Harvest Trail bars are full of protein and fiber while keeping net carbs and sugars in check. Each bar contains less than seven grams of net carbs, less than four grams of sugar and no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sugar alcohols.

The new bars focus more on the rich taste of chocolate, yogurt, fruit and nuts. They come in 4 varieties including Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel,Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Vanilla Fruit, and Nut and Dark Chocolate Cherry & Nuts.

These bars are for everyone to snack on. I was able to tale with Collette Heimowitz, VP Nutrition at Atkins, and learned so much about these new bars. This is their first non-weight loss product, but it still holds true to their mission of low-carb eating.
The bars are very good, even my kids love them. The varieties all feature chocolate or vanilla so my children think they are a dessert.

The Atkins Harvest Trail Bars are available at retailers nationwide now.

A pack of 5 ranges around $7.

PopCorn Factory Makes Back To School Fun

School is just getting back in session in a few states. Here in Connecticut the kids are already on their fourth day of school, and my husband starting a new job. I wasn’t sure if they would come home in a good mood or bad mood, since everything is so new. I decided I would set up some snacks for them when they walked in from their first day.

The Popcorn Factory sent us a University Snacks Stash to review, and it was perfect for the first day blues.

The University Snacks Stash contains:
Buffalo ranch popcorn
Sour green apple popcorn
Cheese popcorn
White cheddar
Mini pretzels
Sour sassy taffy
Sour gummy stars
Dry Roasted Peanuts
Chocolate Chip Cookies
assorted Jelly Belly Beans

It was the perfect snack for the first day blues. The favorite was the candy apple popcorn, they said it tasted just like one of their favorite candies. My favorite was the gummy stars, they were very sweet and good.

Hot Pocket Bites Are Such A Fun Snack

Summer is here and the kids are home all day long and every couple hours all I hear is “Can I have a snack” over and over again. I do’t like to give my kids a lot of sugar so I opt for something healthy like fruit or something very simple to make.

Hot Pockets now come in Bites, which is the perfect alternative for snack time.

Hot Pocket Bites come in three different varieties Ham and Cheese, Cheese Pizza, and Pepperoni Pizza.

** We tried all 3 varieties and loved them, even my daughter who hates mozzarella cheese ate the pepperoni bites and liked them. They are so easy to make just put on a plate and microwave for about 2 minutes and you have the perfect snack.
My kids kept asking for more, we went through 3 bags in one day, although the bags are a bit small. My favorite would had to be the ham and cheese, it was so good and tasted like you were eating a fresh off the grill Ham and cheese sandwich.
