*****This is such a great idea and very easy to use. I like that I don’t have to worry about wasting soap, or even putting soap in the dishwasher.  What i don’t like is the fact that it has to be put on the top rack of the dishwasher. We use so many dishes and it’s one less cup that can be put in the dishwasher. I also received Jet Dry Turbo Dry to review, I really like it, it leaves my dishes spot free.

I’m very slow this month

I usually have contests galore going on and reviews as well, but This month I have been holding back on some great opportunitys. I will be moving on June 30 to Huntington NY, so I am busy packing and getting everything ready. I don’t want anything being sent to me not arrive in time. Hopefully all these great opportunitys will still be available in July.  

A little info on Huntington:  It’s a small town on Long Island. It’s about 40 miles outside of Manhattan. Unfortunately I will be so close to Blogher 10, but will not be attending, as it is all sold out.

Look back at the end of July I may be hosting a giveaway of a home theatre system.

****This is the ultimate dvd for any Thomas lover, with over 2 1/2 hours of nothing but Thomas and his friends. My son was a little overwhelmed watching this, there was just so much.  Plus the games and music videos, this is hours of fun for your little one. I think Thomas is a little old school though, he needs to be brought up to 3d or something.

As the sisters sightsee and spend time together, Jessica gets to know the real Christopher and soon their friendship grows. Ultimately Christopher must decide what is more important — being himself or becoming a movie star. **** I absolutely adore this movie, It shows that there can be a softer side to “Stars”.  A teen star meets an ordinary girl, who does not care at all about him, and ends up falling for him as she gets to know the real him.   My daughter is only 5, but she really likes this movie, and with the bonus CD she sings to all the songs.  This dvd promotes honesty, humility, self acceptance and strength of character. This is a great movie!

****I never realized my kids liked Barney, mo dance mostly my son. This dvd is great for the kids to dance and sing along. It even comes with a 5 song CD, featuring on of my daughters favorites Rain Rain Go Away!  It’s all about summertime play outside at the park with Barney and his friends. Great way to encourage the kids to head outside and play.

I received 3 great cookbooks just in time for summer.

Weber’s On the Grill Chicken and Sides:

This book has over 100 delicious recipes for chicken and all the great sides that go with it.  I tried out an easy recipe, and side first.

Chicken Rub:

  • 4 tsp granulated onion
  • 4 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp. ground black pepper
