Hi there! I came over from Claire Justine’s post on this! I am a music teacher and it makes me so happy to see this and read it- SO nice to see children persevering and with more unusual instruments like the tuba. I WISH I had a tuba player in my school- sadly (or not sadly, but I wish the distribution was a bit more even), it’s all about the violin and piano at my school with some increase in the woodwinds and only 2 brass players!!

Music is great for kids… and it is nice to see a girl in the brass section which is normally all boys. Yeah tubas are HUGE but she is keeping at it!
My son just started learning the violin and I can see this in my future =)
