I love Pizza, who doesn’t? I often find that pizza places can be to expensive and even buying frozen t the store can be costly. Plus I like my pizza fresh and not super greasy.

My mom would make French Bread pizza when I was younger and I just took the idea and ran with it.

All you really need for you pizza for one is
Sub Rolls
Pizza sauce (any will do)
Mozzarella Cheese
Hormel Pepperoni
and other topping you would like.

Just cut the sub roll so it’s spread open.
Add Pizza Sauce, spread on inside of roll
Cover with your mozzarella cheese
Add your Hormel Pepperoni and other toppings

Your oven should be set at 400 and bake for 10 minutes.

I love the pizza sub actually more than a slice of pizza. It comes out super crispy and delicious. You can choose to fold it over and have it like a pizza sandwich or just as is.

Have you ever tried a pizza sub or french bread pizza?

  1. Ha! I make these all the time. You dont even need french bread- use a hot dog bun or an English muffin my favorite meal is pizza.

  2. This is a really great idea if you want pizza for one or two and not a whole family. I usually make the French bread pizza once a month for the family but there are nights when it’s only one or two for dinner.
