Based on DreamWorks animation’s new animated film  Madagascar 3: The video game puts players in the role of their favorite Madagascar characters, including Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo. The gang travel through Europe by a traveling circus and must put on the show of their lives to make their way home to New York.

****My kids were so excited to get this game, we haven’t seen the movie yet so it adds to the excitement.   The game was a bit confusing at first, since there really aren’t any instructions with the game, but after a while we got the hang of it. We are still in the beginning levels though, still trying to figure out certain things. Each character has there own special skill, like Alex can double jump, gloria can tight rope walk and marty can fly through cannons. You have to switch through characters to complete the challenge, there are obstacles though like people and the animal catcher. You have to hide from them.  We are really enjoying playing this game, and can’t wait to see the movie.
