In anticipation of the new Tinker bell DVD, Disney has put together some Never Land Nomenclature to get you prepared for the release on October 27.
I’ll admit i have been spelling it wrong, and am a little embarrassed by it.
The correct way to spell Tinker Bell is Tinker (space) Bell. Tinker Bell is a formal name and consists of two words with the first letter of each word capitalized.
Other names Tinker Bell is often called: Miss Bell and Tink.
Never Land is two words, both capitalized with no hyphen.
Pixie Hollow is two words, both capitalized with no hyphen.
Pixie dust is two words with no hyphen.
Tinker Bell’s friends names are:
Fawn- An Animal Fairy
Iridessa- A Light Fairy
Rosetta- A Garden Fairy
Silvermist- A Water Fairy
Clank & Bobble- Tinker fairies
Terence- A Pixie Dust Fairy
Blaze- A young firefly
Fairy Gary-Head of the Pixie Dust Distribution Center
Lyria- A Storytelling Fairy
Viola- A Summoning Fairy
The Trolls-Guardians of the North Forest Bridge
And of course Tinker Bell- Tinker Fairy
The movie Tinker Bell takes place in Spring.
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure takes place in Autumn
Thanks to Disney for correcting me on how to spell Tinker Bells name
If you’d like to know the truth, the name is (and always has been) Tinkerbell.
The reason Disney changed it in their recent movies is because they were selfishly trying to get out of paying royalties to the company that OWNS the name Tinkerbell by spelling it differently. Well, the company is now suing Disney to force them to pay royalties no matter HOW they spell it.
The company that owns her name is “New Tinkerbell Inc” (owned by a children’s hospital). J M Barrie (the original author of Peter Pan) gave them the rights in her will.

He continually kept preaching about this. I’ll send this post
to him. Pretty sure he will have a very good read.
