From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. Last Day Of School Outfits

I think this outfit was a little silly, but it’s what she wanted. A Hello Kitty Skirt and a Disney Shake It Up Top.

Simple black shorts and a Green tank top, with a  matching green headband.

 

They wanted to dress up, but we decided on comfort. Since the last day of school was 97 degrees and the school has no AC.

Monster High Has Partnered With We Stop Hate

Monster High and WeStopHate, have partnered together to introduce a new online activity. Inviting girls to take back the mirror and celebrate their imperfections, on the newest iteration of Freaky Fab 13.

The online experience encourages girls to view a positive self-reflection by rewriting how they view themselves on the inside and out.   Girls can upload a photo of themselves to the online mirror.  Then, they are given a series of positive, monsterfied sayings that they can apply to their mirror, print out or save to celebrate their imperfections.

Wal-Mart has also joined in, in efforts to build girls self-esteem. They will have displays at more than 1500 stores as well as online activities at Walmart.com.

New York Aquarium Opens A New Summer Exhibit

The New York Aquarium opened a new exhibit just for the summer. The exhibit is called A-MAZE-ING Water.

The exhibit will feature “Water’s Extreme Journey”, where you will travel through a 1,500 square-foot maze. You will learn about environmental threats that plague our waterways, along their way to an ocean themed destination.

There will be activities on a daily basis for children at the exhibit. like a zipline, water cycle puzzles and so much more.

The exhibit runs through September 9, 2012

To celebrate the in-home debut of “Chimpanzee,” Disneynature is proud to continue the “See ‘Chimpanzee,’ Save Chimpanzees” conservation program initiated with the film’s theatrical release. For every purchase of the movie through August 27, 2012, Disneynature will make a donation through the Disney Worldwide ConservationFund to the Jane Goodall Institute to conserve chimpanzee habitat, educate the next generation, and provide care for orphaned chimpanzees.

The blu-ray combo pack and dvd will be released on August 21, 2012.

Finding A Scholarship For College

My husband has been in college for 7 years. 5 years of undergraduate and 2 years of graduate school. It’ been a long hard road, specially with having 3 kids, but we make it work. Now that he is working on his PHD, he still has 3-5 years left of school.

We would of never been able to make any of this happen without scholarships and grants. My husband is a top notch student, but he still had to research and look up scholarships and grants. We found tons of scholarships available, to different types of students. We even found scholarships available to military vets, which my husband is.

On july 2, 2012, select theaters will show Part Of Me before it releases nationwide. There will only be two showings though at 4pm and 7pm.
