KinderCare Summer and Spring Camp Fun

Summer is approaching and my kids will be out of school, so now is a great time to start thinking about summer camps and ways to keep the kids entertained while they can learn.  My husband will have a long summer working and while I am home, its hard to get out and about with 3 kids and do summer activities. So I am looking into Summer camps.

One of the places I’ve looked into is KinderCare since I have 2 children preschool age.  KinderCare has a variety of Summer and Spring camps available for all ages, from Toddler to Kindergarten.  Spring camp is all about getting down in the dirt and learning about science, while Summer camp there are 12 different fun Summer themes to choose from.

If your Spring break hasn’t passed yet, you can get in on the fun at Spring camp.  Spring camp is held during your school districts Spring break, and will have your child planting and tending to vegetables. They also get to make compost, garden related crafts, and even prepare their own veggie treats.  This is perfect for the kids who like to dig and get dirty.

If your spring break is passed, then you can still think about Summer camp like Scienterrific and Kids Kitchen.  I like Scienterrific because my husband is a scientist and I think it’s interesting for them to see what daddy does. Children learn physics of movement through hands on activities, like making paper airplanes.   Kids Kitchen help kids identify what they are eating, and determine what family they belong in.  They also get the chance to cook, making things like salsa, fruit fiesta and more.  It’s all centered around fruits and veggies.

It’s Garfields birthday and Jon has forgot to make him a birthday lasagne. When he finally does he does not make enough. Garfield starts dreaming about talking lasagne and becomes afraid to eat anymore. We enjoyed thjis dvd

In the movie Tangled, Mother Gothel locks Rapunzel up in a tower to protect her from the dangerous outside world.  Thinking about it, how many times as a child did your parents tell you to trust their judgement or that they know better so don’t do it?
 
Growing up there were tons of times I didn’t listen to what my parents said.

We love the Hub, they play classics I grew up with and new ones my kids love.  They have unveiled their new line up for the upcoming year.

New series for the 2011-2012 year.

The Aquabats Super Show-From the creators of “Yo Gabba Gabba” comes this quirky comedy adventure show featuring the popular rock band The Aquabats. You can Help the March Of Dimes just by posting a badge on your facebook wall.

Every March for the past ten years, Hess has sponsored an in-store fundraising campaign to raise awareness and donations to help the March of Dimes give babies a healthy start. This year through its Hess Express Facebook page, Hess will donate $1 for each fan who shares the March of Dimes badge on their own Facebook page, with a $25,000 donation goal for this online campaign component.  This is in addition to the in-store Hess fundraising effort, which runs through the end of March.
