Help Induct Hess Toy Truck Into The Hall Of Fame #HESS

Hess Toy Truck is celebrating 50 years today. To celebrate Hess is asking fans to help get Hess Toy Truck inducted into the National Toy hall of fame.

The National Toy Hall of Fame was established in 1988 and is housed at the Strong National Museum of Play, based in Rochester, NY. Since its inception, only 53 toys have ever been inducted into its prestigious halls, following a strict nomination and evaluation process that begins in the spring and ends with final selections in November.

For a Toy to be inducted they must:

  • Icon-status: The toy is widely recognized, respected, and remembered
  • Longevity: The toy is more than a passing fad and has enjoyed popularity over multiple generations
  • Discovery: The toy fosters learning, creativity, or discovery through play
  • Innovation: The toy profoundly changed play or toy design. A toy may be inducted on the basis of this criterion without necessarily having met all of the first three.

We absolutely Love Hess Toy Truck, my son wants a new one every year. A new toy truck is released every year and has real life sounds and lights. It brings smiles and hours and hours of fun for my kids.

The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella’s hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand, and a kindly beggar woman (Helena Bonham-Carter) steps forward and – armed with a pumpkin and a few mice – changes Cinderella’s life forever.

The Best Mothers Day Gift Ever

Happy Mothers Day to all my readers.

Today has been just a ordinary day for me, no big recognition. I don’t expect it.

My kids gifted me with tons of handmade cards and plants etc.

I still have to say that this is the best Mothers Day gift by far. I received it like 6 years ago from Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. It still makes me cry every time I listen to it.

Panera Bread Wants To Know What Your Favorite Item Closed

Panera Bread makes the best Bread, soup, salads, sandwiches and more. I love eating there it’s quick and so delicious.

Panera has launched their favorites program, and they want to know what your favorite menu item is. You can send them a tweet and let them know or read what others favorites are here.

We actually just got a Panera Bread in our village a few months ago. My kids get so excited when they get free cookie coupons from school, because we don’t need to go far to cash them in.
They have so many great selections on the menu it’s hard to choose, but I would have to say my favorite item at Panera Bread is Smoked turkey Sandwich. It’s always been one of my favorites and the kettle chips that come with it.

  • Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread Sandwich – All-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, curried lentil hummus, feta, cucumber, Napa cabbage blend, Tzatziki sauce on freshly baked flatbread

Make Mothers Day Special With Edible Arrangments

Mothers Day is only a few days away, and it’s time to start thinking about the perfect gift for mom.

Every year, I tell my husband and kids not to get me anything of mothers day. Secretly would I like something? Of course! But with a limited budget, I would rather receive a homemade gift.

I am the mother that will always put her kids and husband ahead of anything I need, so I will always say I don’t want anything. There has always been one thing I have secretly wanted but never received. A Edible Arrangement basket. I hunk they are the most beautiful and look delicious.

Edible Arrangements sent the most beautify basket. They delivered it fast and even called beforehand to make sure I would be home. The basket was just so beautiful. It was perfect, I didn’t even want to eat it.

I loved loved the heart chocolate dipped pineapple. It was so delicious and put the perfect touch for the bouquet. The only downside is it takes a lot of space in your fridge, that is how big the bouquets are. As a mother I would really rather receive a fruit bouquet than a box of chocolates. It is healthier and more fun.

You can choose the size of the bouquet, every bouquet has a different price range starting at $69 and going up. Which one are you secretly hoping for?

I have been doing some revamping of my blog. Things are changing. Feed-burner, the original way to subscribe to my feed, will be disappearing soon. I am not even sure if anyone has been getting my email subscriptions.

I haven’t heard anything from my subscribers so I am hoping you still do. To take pre-cautions I am switching everything over to Feed Press.

It is a little more difficult then I thought it would be, as Feed Burner has just magically disappeared most of my subscribers.

So if you subscribe by email and get two one from Feed Press and one from Feed Burner. Please unsubscribe from Feed Burner.

I am nervous to delete the account until I know everything has transferred over.

Same thing with RSS please resubscribe with the little button I have put on my Follow Me in my sidebar. It will take you to my new feed.

I am hoping to get everything back to the way it use to be.

Celebrating Cinco De Mayo
