Cabbage Patch Celebrates It’s 30th Birthday

Cabbage Patch just celebrated their 30th birthday a few days ago, and my family and I were able to celebrate with the brand.

They had so many Cabbage patch Kids and babies on display. They had Cabbage patch kids from the first year in 1983 through 2013. Every special doll made, and even had a time line made.

One of my favorite dolls displayed was from around the world. Scotland, I really want this doll.

Some of their newest products are amazing, and they want you to treat your Cabbage Patch as if she were real. They have toys, glasses and hair accessories to design your own cabbage patch to look just like you.

They have so many to choose from. At the event the kids got to adopt their very own Cabbage patch kid and learned out to take care of it, from diaper changing, and taking the adoption oath to playing.

I love how far Cabbage Patch Kids have come, I still remember my first one.

Pirate Booty Is the PerFect Snack for Talk Like A Pirate Day

Today is “Talk Like A Pirate Day”, my kids have been running around saying arrrr give me ur buried treasure. LOL! When I don’t have any they make me walk the plank.
I cave in and give them their booty Pirate Booty, and they are happy.

Pirate Booty is aged white cheddar made from rice and corn, blended with white cheddar and baked to perfection.

My kids just love this snack, we have been using them as snacks for school or in lunch boxes. They are the perfect size and aren’t to messy. I love that they come in easy packaging and are trans fat and gluten free. So I don’t need to worry about my daughters snack while at school.

First Spelling Test on the fridge

My daughter has always been great at spelling. Last year she was getting 100% on every spelling test.
This year I feel the same thing will be happening.
Her first test has been put on the fridge.

She wants to ask the school to enter into a spelling bee, which makes me a little nervous since she is only in 3rd grade. I am proud of her working so hard and studying everyday.

The Hub’s Halloween Bash

The Hub Network, is hosting their first First Annual Halloween Bash and will be shown on the cable channel Saturday October 26, 2013.

The bash will be hosted by everyone’s favorite Kenan Thompson, and also feature Martha Stewart and a panel of celebrity judges. The bash will also include music performances, and a nationwide costume competition, where 50 semi-finalist from each state will head to L.A. to be apart of the 2 hour event.

Today is the actual First week of school. WEdnesday was the first day of school, but then we got a four day weekend for Rosh hashanah.

Build A Bear introduced their My Little Pony line earlier this year with just Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, two of the most popular characters. They have just added another Pony to the collection, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle was just a fun loving pony and very good student. For her courage and responsibility    this year she became a Princess.   It was a very special moment for children and Brony’s everywhere.

Twilight Sparkle comes with her new set of purple wings and multi-colored mane.  Along with Twilight Sparkle Build A Bear Workshop is also introducing a miniature Spike.

He is the perfect addition to Twilight Sparkle as they are always together in the show.  He is so soft with his green scales.

We added Twilight Sparkle to our My Little Pony collection, and she fits in perfectly. My daughter just loves her and keeps commenting on how soft she is. Actually both my daughters fought over her at first, they said she was too beautiful.

I love when a toy interacts with my child, it makes it so much more fun.

V Tech Switch and Go Dinosaurs are dinosaurs that can turn into race cars. They have a collection of small dinosaurs and then there is Jagger the T-Rex.

Jagger the T-Rex is huge, I was not expecting him to be that big. He is a lot of fun though, as he responds to voice commands, roars, and moves. When you are done playing with the dinosaur switch him around to a construction crane.
You can change his eyes, and change his voice (country voice). It’s really cute!

When you change him to a crane, he lights up and still follows commands.

We received Jagger the T-Rex and a assortment of small dinosaurs. He has not stopped playing with them since they arrived. He loves Dinosaurs and cars, it’s the best of both worlds for him.
