Shopkins Shoppies Dolls 5 In Total

So Shopkins has been adding tons of new products lately with the release of Season 4. When season 4 launched they introduced 2 new Shopkins Shoppies dolls. They are so beautiful and come with their own shopkin exclusives.

There are 4 dolls and 1 doll that includes a playlet to make the Shoppies collection of 5, so far. There maybe more coming in the future.

Donation’s Donuts Delight Playset was released just before Christmas. The set includes a red and pink inspired doll, a donut cart and of course plenty of donut shopkins. The doll also comes with a pink donut purse, hairbrush, 2 exclusive Shopkins Daisy Donut and Rolly Donut and 4 mini shopkins.

Anyone Can Play Tuba

Anyone Can Play Tuba! I use to think that the people that played Tuba were the tall and strong people with loyd voices and had enough air in their lungs to really blow the instrument.

The Tuba in itself is a giant instruments and really heavy specially if you are marching around.

All of my thoughts and speculations about Tuba players have now changed and I believe anyone big or small can play Tuba.

It all started when my daughter started 4th grade, she had to choose and instrument and put Tuba as her 3rd choice. Well, no one else put Tuba on their sheets at all so she received the Tuba to play.

It was so big compared to her, she is a very small short child. She was a little discouraged at first because she couldn’t handle it right and the position of the tuba made it a bit awkward.

After her first summer camp she decided she loved the Tuba and became very good actually. Now a year and a half later she is still going at it. In fact her new school didn’t even offer Tuba but after she showed she could play they let her join in and still play.

You can’t even see her face around the Tuba when she plays. It’s that big. LOL!

Just listen to her play.

Don’t discourage your kids from playing anything they want. It was easy for my daughter to learn to play Tuba using this book.



Just Dance 2016 Helps you stay fit in the new year

One of my new years resolutions is to be more healthy and shed some weight. It’s actually been my resolution every year, but I can never stick to it. This year I am though after some health problems and feeling down. I want to be back and better than ever. One of my favorite ways to stay in shape is by playing Just Dance on the WII, and what better way to kick off the new year than with Just Dance 2016.

Children’s Place Winter Fashions

Winter is here but it has been unseasonably warm, specially here in the north east. While my kids love snow they are happy they don’t have to get out the winter gear just yet. The Children’s Place has some of the cutest clothes just in time for the winter and holiday season.

The Children’s Place has so many different looks and outfits to choose from. My daughter loved the complete outfits and that they could choose either the skirt or the leggings with their sparkly shirt and it would still look good.
My son was very impressed with the outfit and how warm it was, the pants were a bit big but he says they are more comfortable that way.
They have tons of stuff to gear up for the cold weather including winter boots, gloves, and tons of fashionable winter outfits to choose from.

Shopkins Season 4 Is Now Available

It’s 2016 and what better way to ring in the new year with Shopkins Season 4. Shopkins have been a popular toy for years,and they are only getting more popular. Right of the heels of season 3 being released this summer, they just introduced Shopkins Season 4.

These new addition Shopkins are so cute and new categories have been added to the mix, like gardening, Party Time, and more. There new feature special edition is Petkins, They are cute Shopkin with pet faces.

This year is totally different than in past seasons, the packs are designed and situated different this year. Including the blinds which are no longer in yellow bags, unless you get the 5 pack. 12 packs now have clear blind bags as well as the 2 packs.

In addition to Shopkins Season 4, there are some new fun play sets and Shoppie dolls to add in the Mix.

Play sets there are just to many different things to announce. They have a Cupcake Queen cafe out, as well as other play sets.

They even have new blind bags coming out for food fair sets, that feature season 1, 2 and 3 different colored characters.

I’ll be honest though as I like the originals and plan on sticking to that.

In addition to the Food Fair sets, there is a new set with Candy Shopkins.

There are 2 new Shoppe dolls being introduced. Donatina Donuts Delight playset is now available at Toys R Us, and Peppa Mint will be available soon (even though some people have already found her). Pictured above!

Like many of you out there, I am having the hardest trouble finding these items. I got lucky one time and found Season 4 at Walmart, took a few and left the rest for others. Unfortunately my good deed did no good as the next person cleared the shelf.

The Smurfs 3DS Review

The Smurfs are back for a brand new adventure, meet all your favorite characters in the new 3DS Surfs game.

*** This game was a bit confusing to me at first as you mainly just build Smurf Village. So it seemed a little slow, but after the mini games started unlocking it started to get more lively.
The mini games consist of breaking wood, collecting rocks and more to help build Smurf Village.
My kids love being able to design and create their own surf village. The graphics bring it all to life on the Nintendo 3DS, my kids said they felt like they could really be there. This game is perfect for smaller kids as it seems to be just at the right on par with their age. For Tweens and teens it might be to easy.

Gravity Falls For Nintendo 3DS review

Disney and Ubisoft have introduced a new game just for kids. Gravity Falls Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is a brand new game where Mabel and Dipper explore together to save the Mystery Shack. In this game you can switch between the two characters to defeat objects and Jeff the Gnome to save the Mystery Shack.

The graphics in this game are phenomenal, and allows you to go through levels and obstacles with no problems.

**Gravity Falls The Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is so much fun. I had trouble putting it down the first day. Mabel and Dipper work together with their own talents to defeat the gnomes and save the Mystery Shack. Mabel can swing over rocks and trees with her graveling Hook and dipper can shrink with his flashlight. Every level you have a giant gnome to fight at the end, Mabel uses her sleeves from her sweater to whack her enemies and Dipper uses a battle cuff.
I am stuck at the last level Jeff the Gnome becomes a giant and is relentless at defeating Mabel and Dipper.

2015 Hess Toy Truck is The Best Yet

Every year we get my son a Hess Toy Truck, I know this is a tradition in many families, but we just started a few years ago. They are different every year and bring joy to so many children every year. The year they are introducing the 2015 Hess Toy Truck and Rescue Ladder

The 2015 Hess Fire Truck and Ladder Rescue is a red fire truck with oversized tires, swiveling fire hose nozzles, LED lights, a searchlight, a slide out ramp, and 4 sounds. The smaller fire truck has a rotating ladder, moveable nozzles and a push activated Friction Motor.

This year Hess has placed 100 numbered silver edition fire trucks in random boxes.

*** I have to say this is one of the best trucks yet, not only is it red instead of the usual green and white, the lights are brighter, sound is louder and it just sticks out above all the others. The lights are of course Red White and Blue just like police sirens. The spotlight can be turned around to face any angle.

**This bag is so cute and functional. My kids love Disney Villains, there favorite is Maleficent of course. The Walgreens Disney Soho Ny Villains Cosmetic bags come in different sizes and can hold just your basic makeup for outings, or upgrade to the bigger bag and hold all your makeup.
We received a smaller bag which was perfect for my daughter to hold all her makeup that she loves to carry around.
