Shopkins are one of the hottest toys in the world right now. They have so many fun and kid friendly play sets and figures, it’s all day fun for kids.
My 3 kids are all crazy about Shopkins, they play with them daily. We have almost all of them, including play sets.
We just received the Shopkins Vending machine to add to our collection. I have never seen the vending machine in stores, usually they are sold out of everything by the time I get there.
The vending Machine is really cute and comes with 2 special edition Shopkins that can only be found in the play set.
There are a few different special editions in the Vending Machines. I received the product with Cheesy-B and Alpha soup.
The Shopkins Vending Machine is so cute and just big enough to hold all your Shopkins.
My kids love the Shopkins Vending machine and have been playing with it non-stop. They said it would be better if it had actual shelves built in or the little circle clasps real vending machines have. You can just leave the plastic in the Shopkins Vending Machine to use as shelves.

My son loves the new prints and that they glow in the dark. Although he says people will say something if they are watching a movie in school and his waistband shows. He is really loving the new prints though, he says no more plain boxer briefs for him.

I have 2 daughters and a son, my daughters love to play dress up and my son is kind of left out. He is more about playing the cop or Fireman hero type. So I finally got him a Fireman Costume to play in and he loves it.
This inspirational Firefighters Child Ensemble consists of the following pieces: fireman’s jacket with reflective striping and metal clasps, cargo styled pants, chief’s badge and a fireman’s helmet.
The outfit was so cute on him and he didn’t want to take it off at all.
The complete outfit just comes so well together. The pants are actually overalls or suspenders like a real firefighter, so you don’t have to worry about him pulling up his pants often or being to big. The jacket can open and can velcro with latches. To complete the look their is a fireman’s helmet with badge in the front.
The jacket has thumb holes to keep the sleeves snug. I love the reflectors on the pants and jacket, it’s great for play or trick or treating at night.

Shopkins have only been on the market for about a year, but they are already my children’s favorite toy. They play with them day and night. If your kids do love them, well then of course you know how hard they are to find. It gets pretty crazy!
Now, there is a new Shopkins item on the market just in time for Easter. Shopkins Slap Bands are the new it item. Once I see them in store they are gone within 10 minutes.
There are 8 different bands featuring your favorite shopkins characters, like Lippy Lips, Pineapple Crush, Soda Pops and more.
The Shopkins Slap Bands are very sturdy and don’t break, unless of course you bend them and roll them the wrong way. I was telling my kids about loving slap bands when I was younger but they were flimsy and made of really cheap material. The Shopkins Slap Bands are very sturdy and you can even throw them from a short distance and they attach to the arm.
My kids just love showing them off and everyone asks where they can get them.

Celebrate St. Patricks Day with The Childrens Place
One of my favorite holidays is St. Patricks Day, just because I have some Irish in my family. Although I was always brought up to wear orange on St. Patricks Day, we have come accustomed to wearing Green so you don’t get pinched.
My kids had nothing Green that fit them this year, and one of their favorite stores The Childrens Place was kind enough to send us a few items to review.
The Childrens Place is the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel shop. It’s one of few places my kids love to shop for clothes. They love the way the clothes fit and their cute designs.

My kids loved the outfits. the shirts are very soft and comfortable. The jeans fit perfect and complimented the look great. Even though it’s a silly tradition they were so Excited about not having to get pinched when they go to school.

My kids have fallen for the Shopkins craze, and when a new product comes out they just want it.
One of the latest products is the Shopkins So Cool Fridge Playset.
The fridge comes with two special characters and tiny eggs. You can open the fridge and all it’s compartments. The ice maker even works, just stick a Shopkin on it and push for ice and it falls in the cup. The fridge can hold plenty of Shopkins and has been non stop fun for my kids.
They have been sticking the shoes and appliances in the fridge,and then complaining it doesn’t go there. We don’t have very many season 1 which have the Dairy.
My kids love Shopkins but as a mom they can be so hard to find, and there have been a few times where I will find them but then someone scoops everything up before I can get one. It has taken months just to get the few we have, because I tell my kids they can have 1 pack each when we find them. It’s only fair to leave them for other kids who love them.
Shopkins Easter Basket Fun:
We have been putting together some fun ideas for a Shopkins Easter Basket including the fridge. Shopkins are so small they can fit in the Easter eggs and it’s perfect for a egg hunt.

Mattel is releasing a whole line of Barbie, revolving around girl power.
Meet Hello Barbie:
Hello Barbie uses a speech recognition platform, to have a two way conversation.
Hello Barbie requires wi-fi connection and can be used for a hour before needing to be charged. Rechargeable batteries are put in the dolls legs and can mount to her charger.
This doll sounds like so much fun. I did ask: If a child says a curse word or something inappropriate, how will the doll respond? She said that the doll would respond with Lets not talk about that right now, or thats not nice. Parents can set up the software to avoid certain conversations. If you don’t want your child talking about relationships or boys for example. You can put that in your parent controls and Hello Barbie will avoid that conversation.
