Children’s Place Winter Fashions

Winter is here but it has been unseasonably warm, specially here in the north east. While my kids love snow they are happy they don’t have to get out the winter gear just yet. The Children’s Place has some of the cutest clothes just in time for the winter and holiday season.

The Children’s Place has so many different looks and outfits to choose from. My daughter loved the complete outfits and that they could choose either the skirt or the leggings with their sparkly shirt and it would still look good.
My son was very impressed with the outfit and how warm it was, the pants were a bit big but he says they are more comfortable that way.
They have tons of stuff to gear up for the cold weather including winter boots, gloves, and tons of fashionable winter outfits to choose from.

This was our first visit to a Baskin Robbins and my kids just loved it. They had so many different varieties of ice cream and topping to choose from, plus the price was not bad at all.
We were admiring the cakes they had on display, they looked so yummy. My favorite was the Cookies N Cream ice cream cake, which features tons of oreo cookies.
Oreo N Cake is also the flavor of the month for July, which is a sweet combination of cake-flavored ice cream and oreo cookie pieces with chocolate cake batter flavored ribbon.

My kids each got a 2 scoop sundae with their favorite Ice cream and topping.

They picked out Snickers ice cream with gummy bears, chocolate ice cream with M&M’s and Cookies N Cream with M&Ms.

They absolutely loved it and had so much fun watching the guy make them in store. They each told the Baskin-Robbins employee what they wanted without any help and watched the creation happen.

I got a 2 scoop sundae supreme with Cookie dough ice cream and extra cookie dough pieces.

It was the best I ever had. The extra cookie dough pieces and the chocolate fudge and carmel made the sundae all come together. It was the perfect treat for a hot day.

Stop and Shop A+ School Rewards Program GIveaway Closed

Stop and Shop A+ School Rewards Program is kicking off 2015 with the Fighting Hunger Challenge. Stop and Shop is looking to get school involved in the Fighting Hunger Challenge by hosting food drives giving them a chance to earn money for their school.

The food drives will benefit local food banks, pantries and soup kitchens. Stop and Shop will be holding a contest with all the participating schools, and winners will be chosen from the schools that make the best displays using the donated goods.

The challenge runs from January 1, 2015 to February 13, 2015 and is open to all public and private schools in NJ, NY and CT. You must be registered for the Stop and Shop A+ School Rewards Program.

Information on Entering:
To participate in the Challenge, each school registered in the A+ School Rewards Program is asked to choose a local not-for-profit food bank, pantry or soup kitchen, conduct a food drive at their school and collect non-perishable goods. Each participating school builds a unique and creative Fighting Hunger Display using donated products and placed in a prominent area of the school. The food items will be donated to the designated food bank, pantry or soup kitchen at the conclusion of the Challenge.

Coordinators and/or Principals must submit a photograph of their Fighting Hunger Display, indicating the name of their designated recipient. Schools are divided into three brackets based on enrollment size, with the top two schools in each bracket winning $1,000 each. The winning Fighting Hunger Display photos will be placed on the Stop & Shop social media pages.
