What do you think of the Disney Movies 2016 line up? Are you excited, upset? anything you really want to see?

We are dying to see Finding Dory this year my kids loved Finding Nemo and we have been waiting since it was announced over a year ago.

My kids are also excited for Zootopia just because it has Sloths in it. LOL! Their favorite animal, the trailer is so funny.

One movie I am looking forward to seeing as a adult is Alice Through The Looking Glass. I love Alice In Wonderland and Tim Burton is amazing and brings his movies to life through his artist expression.

Inside Out Now On Blu-ray

Inside Out is now available on blu-ray and dvd just in time for the holidays.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

*** I absolutely loved this movie as did my kids. This movie is all about the emotion that we feel everyday and h how they are controlled. It’s hilarious to see how the emotions react. Lewis Black as Anger is just hilarious. I have to say though my favorite character was sadness, she was just so cute. My kids just love to watch this movie over and over again. They laugh the whole time.
The Riley’s First Date short was just hilarious. Something I never would of expected.

Even more than the movie I absolutely enjoyed the lava short. When I first saw the short in theaters I thought it was okay, but then after watching it a few times it grew on me. I love the Lava song.

Disney’s Descendants Now on DVD

Disney’s Descendants is the untold story of Disney classic characters who are eagerly preparing for the face off between their villainous offspring who must choose between following in their parents’ footsteps to help all the villains regain power or embrace their innate goodness to save the kingdom.

My kids couldn’t wait to see this movie. They said it was definitely worth the wait. The movie is all about the children of Disney villains and fairytale characters. The villains including Mal (daughter of Maleficent), Jay (Son of Jafar), Carlos (son of Cruela De Ville), and Evie (daughter of the evil queen) as they are invited to join the sons and daughters of fairytale characters after their parents were banished to the Isle of the lost.

Their mission is to try and steal Fair Godmothers wand to rule, but they all seem to enjoy the benefits of being in Aurodon. They have a evil moment but ultimately decided they want to stay and be good.

My kids love this movie and the music. they can’t stop watching it.

    My son loves the movie Planes. Planes Fire and Rescue has to be his favorite as he wants to be a firefighter so getting to see his favorite character in action was exciting for him. Now with the game he gets to help dusty put out fires and learn all about fighting fires.
    The game was a bit hard to understand at first as my son could not figure out all the controls, but is getting better. His favorite part is getting Dusty to pick up water and then spraying the fires out.

    The game is available on WII U, 3DS and WII.

My kids still love their night lights and it can get a bit to much leaving a hall light on, as I prefer the dark. Now they have their own night lights that run on batteries and that they won’t be scared of.

Olaf is so cute he comes with his own remote. He lights up and speaks some of his favorite phrases from the movie, like “Hi I am Olaf and I like warm hugs.” My son actually put this in his room. He loves it.

The Butterfly mushroom changes colors and has the kids in amazement before bed. My daughter wanted a lava lamp, but I was worried about it getting knocked over or broken. The Mushroom is very light weight and can be put anywhere In the room.

***Planes Fire and Rescue is now on Dvd and Blu-ray and its the perfect holiday gift for any Planes/cars fan in your house. My son couldn’t wait for this movie to come out. He loved Cars and Planes. Planes Fire and Rescue is action packed and will leave you on the edge of your seat at times. The movie is not just for kids though, there are a lot of jokes that adults will get and enjoy. One of the things I loved the most is it has a great storyline and plot. First off at the beginning of the movie it says it’s dedicated to all the Firefighters who risk there lives everyday. In the movie Dusty learns that life is not all about being selfish and famous or popular, it’s about helping others even when it’s dangerous. He learns that after having his life saved.

In the beginning you see the magical wonders of the Moore where Maleficent lives with all the fairy tale creatures. She soon meets a human boy Stephen and becomes smitten. They keep meeting, but he starts to become greedy. The king also hears about Maleficent’s power and starts a attack to destroy her, so he will be the only one powerful.
He fails and falls ill, he announces his successor will be the one who defeats Maleficent. He comes back and pretends to be in love with Maleficent, but one night while she is asleep, he tries to kill her but can’t so cuts off her wings instead.
Fast forward to him being king and announcing the birth of his daughter.
From there it is much like the fairy tale sleeping beauty. She curses the baby and the 3 fairies hide in the woods until she is almost 16 and she escapes, pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep.

When I was little I was never really a big fan of Sleeping Beauty, I thought it was a bit more dark than all of the other Princess/fairy tale movies. I could just never get into it.
My kids seem to see past the darkness and just love the Princess, danzel in distress aspect off the movie.

When Disney announced Maleficent I just thought it was going to be pretty much the same movie, plus I have never really been a fan of Angelina Jolie. I didn’t even plan on seeing the movie.

I WAS WRONG. I love this movie. It is dark and their is a bit of violence in it. It really is the modern day version of Sleeping beauty. It’s the back story you have always wondered.

This movie will make you laugh, cry, and have you on the edge of your seat.

Maleficent flies to Blu-ray and dvd on November 4, 2014.
