**** I haven’t seen this version of Alice in Wonderland in a very long time, in fact my children have never seen this version. My kids are used to Tim Burton’s version, so when I showed them this movie they got really excited and said “Alice in Wonderland when she was a little girl”. Our favorite characters were the White Rabbit and the Madhatter, they are so funny.  We really enjoyed watching this movie and my son now prefers this movie over Time Burton’s version. He said it’s not as scary.  The extras are always fun to watch. We always get a laugh out of the deleted scenes, and the pencil test was very interesting. This is a great classic to watch with the family.

****I love being able to share movies I grew up watching with my children. When I first played this movie a few years ago on VHS, my kids were not interested at all. Now that they are a little older they can actually sit through it, although I don’t think my kids really understand what Fantasia is all about, but they loved the colors and music. There favorite part was Mickey playing with the wizards magic.  Watching the bonus features made me appreciate this movie more, hearing the commentaries and Walt’s inspiration. This movie truly is inspirational and I think one of Disney’s best movies ever.

**** This is so much fun according to my kids. My son is almost 3 and even he can participate in this.  The Mickey Mote gets the kids up, more learning and fun.  My son really enjoyed Mickey’s number roundup and even learned a few numbers I don’t think he knew before.  The only downside is I have 3 kids and 1 mote. they share but not enough. LOL! This is a great learning tool and what i love is it actually has the thinking instead of just sitting in from of the TV.

Winnie The Pooh Hits Theatres July 2011

Winnie the Pooh is going back to it’s Classical animation.

the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years. With the charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Kanga, Roo—and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail.   “Well a tail is either there or it isn’t there,” said Pooh. “And yours isn’t… there.”  Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some hunny. Inspired by five stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art style, “Winnie the Pooh” hits theaters July 15, 2011.
