William is heading to Kindergarten! We just had his Pre-school graduation and it was just the cutest thing ever.
He was so well behaved the whole time, considering they had to sit in the gym for over a hour.

I can’t believe it, the days just go by so fast. My baby girl Alexandra turns 7 today. It’s unbeilevable how fast my kids have grow up.

We finally got school pictures back. My older children did not get Spring pictures, the school decided not to do them. I actually agree with it, you should only take pics once a year.
Anyways,
My son didn’t do Fall pics, just Spring. He is so adorable, I stare at this pic and fall in love over and over!
YMCA locations on Long Will be participating in Healthy Kids Day this Saturday April 27, 2013.
This event is open to the public even if you do not have a YMCA membership.
I attended with my family and they have so many exciting and fun things for kids to do. They had family Zumba, Mad Science, a petting zoo, and so much more. It is mainly to make you aware of the programs the YMCA offers and why you should join. We came home with literally a case full of information, along with goodies for the kids.
I think my kids favorite part was the Fire Truck they had for kids to look at. They allowed the kids inside, they got to try on the jacket and hat, and even got to spray the hose.
My little girl is growing up :(, It’s so sad.
I remember when she was just a baby.
Now your so big and I ams o proud of you. She is the top of her class, but still has attitude and is not afraid to stick up for herself.

Easter is over but the kids can not stop talking about how much fun they had hunting for eggs. We actually went to two egg hunts this year.
One in our community, where it wasn’t really a hunt as eggs were out in the open. They were allowed 8 eggs each and had face painting etc.
We also went to a egg hunt at my husbands school/job Cold Spring Harbor Lab. That was a lot of fun they always go all out for their staff’s family.
He got the most eggs. LOL!

Winter may be over, but one of my favorite things about the start of Spring is getting clothes for next winter. That’s right! Winter clothes and jackets go on clearance and that’s when i buy them for the next year. It’s great because I get good quality winter coats for half the price or less.
This year I wanted to get a good quality coat, instead of my usual department store clearance sale. So I started browsing online and was soon contacted by Free Country. I choose their Tahoe Power Down Jacket to try out.
The inside is what I love the plaid fleece lining and backing. It keeps you so comfy and warm.
*** I have never had a down jacket before, but have always wanted one. I love the feel of it and how long it is. I was a a little worried since winter is officially over that I wouldn’t be able to get to wear it all day. Winter weather is still here in Long Island though, so I have been wearing the jacket almost every day when I am out.
The lining keeps you really warm, it even has storm cuffs. Plus there is plenty of room to move around in. I am still breaking it in, but I love the feel of it. I have noticed that when I get in the car to drive or bend down with my arms out, it feels a bit tight. I ordered a size large and it seems like it’s a good fit with a little room just the way I like it.
It has a zipper, plus buttons down. It also has a removable hood with fur lining.
Another feature I really like about this jacket is the pockets. The outside pockets have zippers, to keep things safe. There is even a inside hidden pocket for your cell phone or MP3 player.

Today is my husbands 31st birthday.
You are such a pleasure to have around (most of the time). LOL! We have been through everything together and have 3 beautiful kids.

I’ve been through a few graduations through the years. It’s been exactly 10 years since my high school graduation. My husband had his College graduation in 2010, and my daughter also had her Preschool graduation that year.
My husband is back in school earning his PHD, but will not graduate for another year or so, but when he does that will be a big celebration for us. This year my son will be graduating preschool.
I am sad but excited at the same time, my last baby will graduate preschool. I want to make it as special as I can, even though it’s just preschool. Since our family is not around, I will be purchasing picture cards to send to family.
