Alexandra only realized she had a loose tooth a few days ago, but she has been doing everything to get it out. Eating apples or anything hard, playing with it etc.
Today she ate her apple and played with her tooth for a while and……
Surprise it’s out.
Now she is excited about getting $5 for her first tooth. I only give $5 for the first, after that it’s $1.
I was going through my beauty supplies I have had in storage for years. I attended beauty school, but dropped out when my husband was deployed overseas to care for my daughter.
Anyways, I found my old crimping tool from when I was a teen. So I went all out on my kids hair. They loved it!!
A little poofy
More Poofy
My husband was really upset. He was like thats embarrassing, everyone will make fun of them. I had to show him online women from Fashion week and a few celebrities including Katy Perry that were rocking the hair style.
She is 6, almost 7 and has been complaining that she hasn’t lost any teeth yet. Well she came home from school on Friday and was so excited her first loose tooth. Unfortunately she soon realized, it’s not all fun. She was having so much trouble eating anything. LOL!
We love our Library, they are the greatest. Their is always classes going on for the kids and perks for reading. This winter, I signed my kids up for the Winter reading club for the second year in a row. They were given a game board to complete reading books. If they completed it, they were invited to a party.
They made it! They read between 45-60 books each. My kids are such book worms.
The Final party was so much fun, they received their certificates for completion, and their prizes were to make Marshmallow Igloos.
We went to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live here in Huntington NY last night at The Paramount. It was a really great performance.
They did all the songs and dances from the show and it really got all the kids up and moving.
The name game
The kids were having so much fun dancing along, even my 6 and 7 year old were having a good time.
Even Biz Markie was at the show, entertaining the kids. He sand the chorus to Just a Friend and all the adults started singing with him.
There was also a special guest playing Saxophone and getting the kids to Jump around, I don’t remember his name though.
We went to the last show, and you could tell that the characters and DJ lance were tired. They still managed to pull off a great show.
My favorite song:
The show was really great, and they even have a package deal for you to meet the characters afterwards. We were a little confused where to go for that, it was our first time in the Paramount Theater.
The party package includes:
a ticket in the first 15 rows
a pass to the Get The Sillies Out After Party (meet the characters)
Hassle free merchandise shopping
Photos with you favorite characters
Vip host to make sure your experience is awesome.
If you want to go see Yo Gabba Gabba LIve, it may be coming to a theater near you.
Check here for the listing.
Disclosure: I was invited to see the show free of charge, all opinions are my own.
We had such a great Christmas, I am so blessed to have such great family.
All she wanted was a Chess set!!!
#1 on her list My Little Pony Castle
#1 on his list a remote controlled Tractor, unfortunately we didn’t realize when we bought it, it was already broken and now have to return it (had a refund receipt attached to it).
I hope everyone else had a great Christmas or Holiday!!!
I have been trying to work on some posts, unfortunately, I have not been able to concentrate at all. My heart is broken and i’m so sad about the tragic events in CT.
So today i will be taking a break to remember these beautiful people.
