Fathers Day Gift Guide: Recipe For Dad with French’s

Fathers Day means quality time with dad and many Americans will gather for poolside parties and backyard BBQ’s. To get dad excited about dinner and make the day easier on him. Here are some delicious easy recipes from French’s Mustard.

Tangy Ranch Grilled Chicken

  • 2/3 cup                      Ranch salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup                      FRENCH’S Classic Yellow or Honey Mustard
  • ¼ cup                        dark brown sugar
  • 4 (5 oz.)            boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  • 1.        MIX salad dressing, mustard and sugar. Pour 2/3 cup mixture over chicken.
  • 2.        MARINATE chicken in refrigerator 30 min. or up to 3 hours.
  • 3.        GRILL chicken on greased rack over medium heat for 15 min. or until done. Serve chicken with remaining mustard mixture.

4 servings

Saucy Onion Hot Dogs

  • 2 tbsp.                       butter or margarine 
  • 2 large                       sweet onions, thinly sliced (1 lb.) 
  • ½ cup                        French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
  • ½ cup                        ketchup
  • 10                  frankfurters 
  • 10                  frankfurter buns 

 Directions:

  1. Melt butter in skillet. Saute onion 10 min. until very tender. Stir in mustard and ketchup. Cook over low heat for 2 min., stirring often. 
  2. Grill frankfurters and buns over medium heat until frankfurters are browned and buns are toasted. 
  3. Spoon onion mixture into buns; top each with 1 frankfurter. 

makes 10 servings

***These recipes are delicious and fun. We really enjoyed making them, the tangy ranch chicken came out very good.  The hot dogs kind of tasted like chili dogs just sweeter.

With Summer In full swing, everyone is grilling out. Everyone always forgets the sides though. I know with me I run in and out of the house between the grill and the stove cooking, oh and not to mention chasing 3 kids.

**** This was so easy to make, and very delicious. I made it before I started grilling and it came out perfect.   It doesn’t matter if it’s not warm anymore, because you can eat it hot or cold.The Pyrex Tupperware is a great for storing food in the freezer. I really like the mixing bowl, it’s so cute and perfect for the pasta bowl.The bag is insulated and great for a little picnic.

Grilling with Libby’s Vegetables GiveawayCLOSED

Summer is a time for gatherings and BBQ’s. There is nothing better than making an easy dinner with little mess on the grill.

Everyone cooks the favorites hamburgers, hotdogs, and steaks.  There is another great recipe Libby’s wants to share with you for the grill.

Southwestern Chicken Quesadillas

  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 6 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 1⁄2 cups grated pepper jack cheese
  • 15 oz Libby’s mixed vegetables, drained
  • 6 oz grilled chicken breast strips, chopped
  • 1 fresh or bottled tomato salsa
  • Tin foil

For each quesadilla, brush oil on the tortilla and place it on a piece of tin foil and on the grill. Sprinkle evenly with 1/4 cup cheese. Sprinkle 1/2 cup mixed vegetables and 2 ounces chicken on top. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese and place another tortilla on top. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until cheese is melted. Carefully turn over and continue to cooked, covered, until second side is golden. Slide quesadilla onto a cutting board and cut into 6 wedges. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make a total of 3 quesadillas. Serve with salsa.

They still look the same, come in bright fun colors, and of course the kids like them.

It’s definitely worth it to switch over, but I am not sure if I’d actually eat cereal with almond milk. I think it would make a wierd combination, fruit loops and almonds. My entire family liked this milk, even the picky little ones.

I absolutely love 3 Musketeers candy bars. They are so good and I was so excited to find out that they were coming out with 3 Musketeers Truffle Crisp.

My kids loved it, in fact I left it out and they snuck a bar in their room and ate it.
