****This is really fun, we take out portable dvd player with us on road trips and the carrying case is a great way to get the dvds around.  Thomas is always fun to watch, he teaches great lessons and my kids actually understand. these episodes vary from Thomas wins a medal for saving the day, Thomas uses the carnival Chinese Dragon to give Percy a challenge, and Henry wants to replant his favorite forest after a storm. We really enjoyed these dvds.

***** The First Rescue was really enjoyable to watch, being that they are all new episodes. We have seen every episode of the Wonder Pets at least twice, so it was a good change.  It was interesting to see how the Wonder Pets started there adventures together, and of course my kids loved watching the episodes.  They love the teamwork song!

****iCarly is really funny, I actually enjoy watching it with the kids.  This DVD contains a lot of great episodes, including Freddie and Carly Kissing, Sams twin sister coming to visit, Sam saving Carly’s life and more.  I have heard a lot of controversy about one of the episodes, where Sam says “no shizz”. It’s not appropriate for kids, but I don’t see anything wrong with it, it’s a not an actual curse word and she is just playing her character.

****My son is really big into cars and planes, and trains. This movie brings all of them together. It’s exciting for future little mechanics or pilots.   This is not a cartoon, it’s all about the real machines. It was really interesting to see the building of an airplane. that really fascinated my kids.

****I loved the Care Bears growing up I had every stuffed animal. I was never a big fan of the show though when it came out, I thought the Care Bears looked a bit wierd. Since I introduced these movies to my kids they have found a new favorite show. these episodes teach about caring and sharing, teamwork and much more. The most important lesson according to my daughter that the Care Bears talk about is friendship. My kids really liked this movie.

The Roku player also detects internet bandwith and is also wifi ready. It features tons of channels like MLB TV, watch all your favorite baseball games. Most of the channels you need to pay for, but they do have some free channels. Pandora is a internet radio channel, where you can choose your favorite artist or song to play. I choose Taylor Swift and it will play songs from her as well as other popular country artists.

You can even link to your Facebook and Flickr account to access your photos on tv.  With the Facebook channel, you can access any photos that have your name on them. So if someone tags you in a photo you can still access that photo.

We just can not get enough of this player. Its so much easier than having to drive to the movie store or wait for your DVDs in the mail. Its cheaper too, we went to blockbuster a few weeks ago and rented two movies at 5 dollars piece for 5 days. Roku instant watching with Netflix you can watch movies at any time, no waiting, no late fees and there are over 17,000 movies to choose from.The downside is there are some movies that can only be accessed through dvd.

I actually think we have been watching way more tv, then we usually do since I received the Roku. It’s a lot more movie date nights at home though! For 79.99 it is very much worth the money. This would be a great gift for any mom.

They use bright colors in the show which attracts my youngest childs attention. We really liked this dvd. You can watch this show on CBS saturday mornings, part of Cookie Jar TV.
