Monster High Frights Camera Action is finally available on dvd. It’s the next big thing for Monster High.
When Draculaura is led to believe she’s the rightful heir to the vampire throne, she and her best ghoulfriends are whisked away to Transylvania for a royal coronation to die for. But they soon discover the hunt for the queen is not over yet. The Ghouls must locate an ancient artifact known as the Vampire’s Heart in order to discover the identity of the true Vampire Queen. It’s a fangtastic adventure that will lead them from the Tower of Londoom, to a haunted river boat in New Goreleans and finally to the glamorous boo-vie lots of Hauntlywood. Could this be the moment when Draculaura finally receives her vampire powers and discovers screams really can come true
Bonus features:
*** We are the big Monster High fans and couldn’t wait to see this movie. It is definitely worth buying. The movie starts out with all the Monster High friends watching a movie about the Vampire Queen. Draculaura is outraged that the movie is fabricated.
Draculaura and her Ghoul friends set out on a adventure to find the true Vampire Queen after it is revealed that she is not the true heir. They have a big adventure and meet a lot of new friends along the way, including Clawdia, Honey Swamp, and Viperene, and more.
I don’t want to spoil the movie so I’ll leave it at that.
As a fan, my daughters were pointing out every single ghoul they saw. Hoodude Voodude was a main character in this movie, which was so exciting. He is also included in a lot of the outtakes since he is so silly. We are just hoping he is released as a doll soon to stores.
There is also a preview of the fall release of Freaky Fusion!
Release date: March 25, 2014
Running Time: 1 hour 14 minutes

Based on the beloved best-selling book comes an “extremely moving” (Leonard Maltin, Indiewire) story of a girl who transforms the lives of those around her during World War II, Germany. When her mother can no longer care for her, Liesel (Sophie Nélisse) is adopted by a German couple (OSCAR Winner Geoffrey Rush and OSCAR Nominee Emily Watson). Although she arrives illiterate, Liesel is encouraged to learn to read by her adoptive father. When the couple then takes in Max (Ben Schnetzer), a Jew hiding from Hitler’s army, Liesel befriends him. Ultimately, words and imagination provide the friends with an escape from the events unfolding around them in this extraordinary, acclaimed film directed by Brian Percival (Downton Abbey).
The Book Thief is aimed at young adults as it does not display the full violence that was apart of WWII. It’s a great start for getting children prepared to learn about the horrors that happen at that time.
I am giving away a Blu-ray copy of the Book Thief to one lucky reader.

A family event movie from the creators of “Coraline” and “ParaNorman” that introduces audiences to a new breed of family – The Boxtrolls, a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs (voiced by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) in the amazing cavernous home they’ve built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town’s villain, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, “into the light,” where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnifred (Elle Fanning). Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs’ family.

Disclosure: Movie and gift card were provided as part of the Fox Home Insiders program. All opinions are my own.
Last week, I was given the opportunity to host a Twitter Pizza party for the movie Free Birds. It was all part of the Fox Home Insiders program. It was a lot of fun.
We were given the movie and a pizza gift card and then just posted about the movie and how much fun we were having.
We had never seen Free Birds, so I did not know what to expect.
Two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history – and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good.
My kids could not stop laughing the whole time, the movie is hilarious.
The movie is about the president’s daughter chooses which Turkey to pardon. Reggie then becomes her pet, but decides to take a time machine to the past to stop Turkey’s from being Thanksgiving. Along the way he meets several different Turkey’s and even falls in love.
One of my favorite parts from the movie has to be the Presidents Daughter’s
catch phrase.
It reminds me of my daughter she will fall asleep in mid sentence.
Thanks to Fox Home Insiders and Pizza Hut for making my pizza party possible!
You can pick up the Free Birds dvd from Fox Connect.
