We had the Loaded Mashed Potatoes tonight which have bits of parsley, imitation bacon bits and cheddar cheese.

This is the potatoes before you add the cheese sauce.

After the cheese sauce is added. It actually looks like sweet smashed potatoes with the orange color. The potatoes were very good. They had the Betty Crocker mashed potto flavor with just a hint of cheese.

I really enjoyed it, but think it is better without gravy or any additional flavoring. My kids won’t eat mashed potatoes without gravy.

Getting My Oil Change Using Motor Oil Matters Checklist

I finally went and got a much needed oil change, actually I had a lot of work done on my car.

I always make sure to read the manual that came with our car to see what they recommend for oil changes, Ours is every 3000 miles. Since my car is over the 100,000 mile mark we use high performance oil.

I brought the Motor Oil Matters on my iPad, to save paper. I went over the checklist with the attendant at Firestone. He was very informative on the whole process. saying they only use the best oil and everything is guaranteed.

In addition to the oil change I had my brake fluid replaced, and all my houses replaced. The attendant told me I should be good for a while.
I made sure to go over my receipt before I left the building, it’s really important that you know they didn’t skip over anything.

They put a little sticker in my front window to remind me when my next oil change is and when I had mine done.

I love when a toy interacts with my child, it makes it so much more fun.

V Tech Switch and Go Dinosaurs are dinosaurs that can turn into race cars. They have a collection of small dinosaurs and then there is Jagger the T-Rex.

Jagger the T-Rex is huge, I was not expecting him to be that big. He is a lot of fun though, as he responds to voice commands, roars, and moves. When you are done playing with the dinosaur switch him around to a construction crane.
You can change his eyes, and change his voice (country voice). It’s really cute!

When you change him to a crane, he lights up and still follows commands.

We received Jagger the T-Rex and a assortment of small dinosaurs. He has not stopped playing with them since they arrived. He loves Dinosaurs and cars, it’s the best of both worlds for him.

Make A Pizza On The Grill GiveawayClosed

I have never heard of or tried to make a pizza on the grill, but you can. I am going to try.

All you need is pizza ingredients and Pillsbury Pizza crust.
It’s simple to make just

Just heat your grill (propane or charcoal) to medium heat. Then cut a aluminum foil sheet 14×14. Spray it down with cooking spray, then place dough on foil and spread. Place pizza on grill foil down, cook for 3 minutes uncovered. When bottom is golden brown remove from grill.

Using a spatula flip the crust over, so the uncooked side is down on foil. Put pizza sauce and cheese with toppings on pizza. Place foil on grill and cook 3-4 minutes covered until crust is golden brown and cheese is melting.

This was such a fun experience, my kids always want to help grill but I get nervous then being around the flames. So this was the perfect way for them to help. they put on all the toppings and I do the grilling.  The pizza tasted a little different than usual, but was still really good. really crispy.

Easter Idea: Creativity Matters with Crayola GiveawayClosed

I love when my kids draw or build things,  it shows their creativity and imagination.

Creativity is something every child can learn and express on their own, it helps them get ready for the future and beyond. Creativity is not about who´s the best artists or becoming an architect. It´s a way of thinking that encourages kids´ original ideas and develops their confidence.

We absolutely loved all of these Crayola products, my favorite was the My First Crayola because they are perfect for my sons little hands. So much easier for him to draw his pictures.  My daughters loved the 3D chalk, they drew on the side walk and then it came to life. The red stood out more than any other color.  The window markers are fun to use and easy to clean off, but we didn’t go to crazy with it just in case.  The dry erase markers and board, really come in use in my house. My daughters use them for homework problems, but the only downside is that when you erase there is still a residue. It does not come off very well.

 

Crayola held a “Inside The Crayola Box” event with Lisa Loeb, where she shared her insights and her kids creativity.
