Shopkins So Cool Fridge and Shopkins Easter Basket

My kids have fallen for the Shopkins craze, and when a new product comes out they just want it.
One of the latest products is the Shopkins So Cool Fridge Playset.

The fridge comes with two special characters and tiny eggs. You can open the fridge and all it’s compartments. The ice maker even works, just stick a Shopkin on it and push for ice and it falls in the cup. The fridge can hold plenty of Shopkins and has been non stop fun for my kids.

They have been sticking the shoes and appliances in the fridge,and then complaining it doesn’t go there. We don’t have very many season 1 which have the Dairy.

My kids love Shopkins but as a mom they can be so hard to find, and there have been a few times where I will find them but then someone scoops everything up before I can get one. It has taken months just to get the few we have, because I tell my kids they can have 1 pack each when we find them. It’s only fair to leave them for other kids who love them.

Shopkins Easter Basket Fun:

We have been putting together some fun ideas for a Shopkins Easter Basket including the fridge. Shopkins are so small they can fit in the Easter eggs and it’s perfect for a egg hunt.

Depending on the size eggs you buy you can fit a Shopkin in a small egg or a Shopkin with a shopping bag in a big egg.

We had a family viewing party with this movie, and even though everyone was sick we still had a great time. When the movie first started I was a bit disappointed it seemed like a boring movie. I was so wrong, the movie was really good and even had a great ending. It is definitely a family movie to watch with your kids.

I was able to try the Strawberry Rhubarb and pleasantly surprised at how sweet it is. It’s very delicious, my daughter also ordered it and it was the fastest I have ever seen her eat at a restaurant. She said it’s a bent waffle with cream and strawberries. Every girls perfect breakfast. She was literally trying to lick the plate clean.

Bearitos New Wholesome Snack

I love being able to find sweet things that my son and husband can eat. It can be so hard though as they have a lactose allergy and most foods have dairy in them, specially sweet foods.

Bearitos new Cinnamon Sugar and Fair Trade Cocoa Pita chips are the perfect Wholesome snack. Made with non-GMO ingredients and available exclusively at Whole Foods, you’ll feel good about enjoying these treats with your special someone as you get all the sweet & crunch in one bite.

They are both Dairy Free which is a plus to us. My husband and son loved them. I introduce them to my family and then left for a appt. Came back and the bag was gone. I only got one out of the whole bag and didn’t even get to take a picture of the actual chips.

We only tried the Cinnamon Sugar Pita chips but they were very sweet and my son said they kind of tasted like a cereal he loves.

National Cold Cuts Day #HormelFamily

Panera Bread is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat on my Lunch break. They have everything from sandwiches, salads, desserts, soups and so much more.

It has been the coldest on record in 20 years here in NY and having the option to get a meal that is hot and you can take with you is great. I tried the Soba Noodle with Chicken bowl and it was very good. I am not a fan of the long noodles, but it was still very tasty and piping hot.
The bowl looked very small so I opted to get 2 for 1 deal where you buy a Broth Bowl and get 1/2 a sandwich for a few dollars more. I couldn’t even get to the sandwich the bowl was so filling and was bigger than it actually looked.

Happy Valentines Day. It’s a day to love and cherish that special someone or just spend the day with your loved ones.

Valentines Day has never been a big deal to me, but I have to admit I love getting a small gift and I love taking my kids out to have a fun day.

Today is national pizza day. The day to indulge and enjoy your favorite pizza. Everyone loves Pizza, wether you like it plain with cheese, no cheese, veggies or all the toppings. I have never met a person who doesn’t like pizza.

When it comes to pizza, I prefer to make my own. Ordering out is good, but can be expensive, so I always make my own.

I buy both pre made dough and dough mix. On pizza days, I make a pizza for the kids and then a total dairy free pizza for my husband.

The kids pizza is simple with just pepperoni. My kids love Hormel pepperoni and think the pizza tastes better when the pepperoni is fresh out of the package.

The dairy free pizza is made with gluten/dairy free dough. pizza sauce and depending on how we want to make it either just sauce with toppings or we will use dairy free mozzarella cheese. My husbands favorite toppings are of course pepperoni and sausage.
