****I never realized my kids liked Barney, mo dance mostly my son. This dvd is great for the kids to dance and sing along. It even comes with a 5 song CD, featuring on of my daughters favorites Rain Rain Go Away!  It’s all about summertime play outside at the park with Barney and his friends. Great way to encourage the kids to head outside and play.

Weber’s Grilling Cookbooks

I received 3 great cookbooks just in time for summer.

Weber’s On the Grill Chicken and Sides:

This book has over 100 delicious recipes for chicken and all the great sides that go with it.  I tried out an easy recipe, and side first.

Chicken Rub:

  • 4 tsp granulated onion
  • 4 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp. ground black pepper

****I used my daughters preschool pictures and transformed them into oil paintings. They look so pretty, but the oil painting still did not come out right around the nose area.  This is really fun software. My daughter got on and made her name on all her pictures. You can create anything you want with this software.  Put captions or little images on your pictures. ****This is very hardcore. This k. iou have a bad bacs a great for your arms and abs, legs. It can be very strenuous on your body if you have a bad back. I received a 10lb. wieght, which I think may have been a little heavy for me, but I wanted the challenge. I had to cut the routine down to 1 a week, because of my back and legs. I have only lost a pound but i took 3 inches off my waist.  This is a great way to to tone up and get in shape for the summer.

****Building from scratch actually has a lot of valuable lessons in the episodes, like following instructions, and taking responsibility for your actions.  My son loves Bob the Builder and was so excited to watch this dvd, and watch all the characters get to work building. My kids loved the part where the “Pumpkin Guy” was teaching his dog tricks. My kids were busting up laughing. This is a great movie!

**** Shaun of the Sheep are really cute short cartoons, that are at times hilarious. This dvd is all about the barnyard animals seeing paranormal activity. My kids thought that this was really cute and funny, they are even trying to convince me that i should buy a farm. I really think that at only 34 minutes long, it’s a waste of dvd. A dvd should at least be an hour long in my opinion.   My kids really had fun with the games, whack a pig was so fun!

****This is the first Yo Gabba Gabba I was actually really interested in as an adult.   They build a clubhouse, play with animals, and mainly focus on outside play. Which is great encouragement to get kids outside during the summer. They also have great guest stars, my favorite is Jimmy Eat World. This dvd has a lot of great learning skills for kids. We really enjoyed this DVD.

****This phone system has everything and is convenient to use.  We use internet phone and our office and phone  are  upstairs, I hate having to run upstairs to get the phone all the time. With V Tech LS6325-3 you can have a phone in your bedroom, living room and Kitchen(or somewhere else). One feature I really like is the intercom system, instead of yelling to my hubby and kids,I just push a button on the side of the phone and it works as walkie talkies. The downside is its load and annoying when all 3 phones ring at the same time, so I suggest maybe turning a ringer off.

****This is really fun, we take out portable dvd player with us on road trips and the carrying case is a great way to get the dvds around.  Thomas is always fun to watch, he teaches great lessons and my kids actually understand. these episodes vary from Thomas wins a medal for saving the day, Thomas uses the carnival Chinese Dragon to give Percy a challenge, and Henry wants to replant his favorite forest after a storm. We really enjoyed these dvds.
