thanks to earcheck i was able to get to review the middle ear check. my son has had constant ear infections, so this is very good to have on hand. luckly this time he did not have a ear infection. i won’t have to worry about going to the doctor and them thinking i’m crazy, for going to the doctor everytime he pulls his ear.

my daughter on the other hand did. so i will be taking her to the doctor. she never even showed signs. the doctor said that toddlers are not bothered that much by ear infections. so you might not even know she has one.

The EarCheck Middle Ear Monitor uses gentle sound waves to accurately and painlessly detect the presence of middle ear fluid, a key sign of an ear infection. This is the same patented and proven acoustic reflectometry technology used by thousands of physicians since 1997, and is a technique recommended by the American Academies of Pediatrics and Family Physicians.

Simply place the tip of EarCheckinto the child’s outer ear canal and press the SCAN button; the monitor works by sending a pleasant chirping sound into the ear canal. Some of this sound bounces off the eardrum and travels back to the instrument’s built-in microphone. EarCheckthen analyzes the reflected sound to determine if the eardrum is working normally. If there is fluid in the ear, the eardrum’s vibrations may be restricted. The greater the fluid level, the greater the reflected sound. wubbzy goes hunting for pirate treasure

thanks to mom central for sending me a copy of the new Wow Wow Wubbzy Pirate Treasure.

this movie was so fun for me and my kids to watch. we absolutely love Wow Wow Wubbzy, and all the kookiness he brings. we love all the animated songs that come on after the show.

yanni voices cd +dvd review

i wrote about the yanni voices tour in febuary you can read about that here

i recieved a copy of yanni voices cd and dvd to review. it was released on march 24 2009

yanni’s instrumental compositions have made him a musical phenomenon. This is the first time ever that a composer and pianist has brought brought vocals to the forefront of his music.

Introducing four young new voices, Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills, all discovered a mentored by Yanni. The album was released on march 24 and the tour kicks off April 10th.

i didn’t really like it, was not my style of music,it jumped from different style. it went from opera to pop, and it was kindof annoying. relaxing listening to the opera style version, and then bam you jump up a different style. their voices are beautiful and i’m sure they would make a great solo artist, but together on this cd i didn’t get it. I like yanni and love his instrumental compositions, but this just wasn’t the same.

ballas hough band

Ballas Hough Band consists of Mark ballas and Derek Hough,both from dancing with the stars (vocals and guitar),Emily Grace on vocals and keyboard, Harry Sullivan on drums, and Sam Marder on bass.

the band was formed in 2005 in London and was called chasing amy, they came to the us in 2008 and were signed by Hollywood records.

i don’t typically watch dancing with the stars. i’m not really into reality television. but dwts has been on for a while and i never knew they were in a band, and they are great. usually when you see a professional ballroom dancer, you think to yourself, that’s their talent. these guys offer so much more they can sing too!

my favorite song from the cd was DO IT FOR YOU. it’s got kind of a pop/rock edge to it. my kids automatically began dancing to it and trying to sing.

their music was actually better than i thought it would be. i was expecting like calm slow classical music or something. thats what i would imagine from ballroom dancers. no it’s the exact opposite. it’s upbeat, got a rock pop edge to it. It’s really great.

pinnochio has just been re-released to disney dvd platinum edition. it now has digital restoration, and better picture and sound.

geppetto’s beloved puppet along with jiminy cricket go on a thrilling quest, that tests his bravery, honesty and loyalty. he must learn to become a real boy. story that made us all believe in our dreams, and made us all wish upon stars.

i’ve always loved this movie and i loved sharing it with my kids. this movie was so fascinating for the kids. my daughter absolutely loved the nose growing. so now whenever she hears a lie she pretends that persons nose is growing.

biscuit the dog review

my daughter keeps begging for a puppy. we live in a apartment and don’t want to have to clean up after a pet. So thank goodness when biscuit the dog came along.

Fur Real Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup has voice recognition and obeys six commands. Speak, lie down, sit, give me paw, want a treat. he reacts to touch and other animals. he is pretty much a real dog with out the mess.

my daughter loves this toy, and plays with it all the time.

the circus was actually just here in Greensboro NC, this past weekend. we had so much fun. i forgot my camera though. my daughters loved animals, and were so excited to see all of them, exspecially the elephants. they were a little scared of the clowns, but i think thats normal for 2 and 3 yr old.

It was like i was a little kid again, and i enjoyed every minute of it. every show is different and gets more exciting. just to see my kids faces during the performances, made it so much more enjoyable.

i just find it to be so exciting seeing all the acrobats, and just trying to imagine myself doing a stunt like that.
