want to hear sweet music for valentine’s day

with valentines day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what to get that special someone. you should consider a concert, with incredible talents of yanni voices. or even a dinner with yanni playing in the background!

Yanni in collaberation with ric wake, has discovered and developed four of the most extraordinary young voices in music today. Two years in the making, yanni returns to the global stage with a great new tour. for the first time yanni, re-interprets his classic compostions and debuts new music introducing show stopping vocalist.

Nathan pacheco-A Washington, DC native, Pacheco possesses an operatic voice, reminiscent of his Brazilian roots, and sings with the warmth, depth and accessibility that characterizes the great pop artists. This talented singer also writes lyrics in Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish with the passion of a poet. It is the voice, however, that immediately draws people.

Cloe- A native of Largo, Florida, Chloe got an early start on her already lengthy career. She began dancing at the age of three and began writing and singing not long after that. She grew up listening to an eclectic mix of Broadway musicals and pop tunes that shaped her melodic sensibilities. By the age of nine she was already performing professionally at corporate events, and by twelve years of age she was signed to a major-label recording contract with RCA Records

Ender Thomas-Hailing from one of the most hauntingly beautiful and diverse regions on the planet, Venezuelan-born singer Ender Thomas grew up in a musical family. His mother, a singer herself, instilled in him his love of music and a passion for pursuing his muse. As a child, he immersed himself in the many rich styles of music that surrounded him and listened to everything from the traditional romantic ballads of his country, the bolero, to the soundtracks of classic Disney musicals – the lyrics to which he can still recite to this day

Leslie Mills-A native of Fort Mitchell in Northern Kentucky, Leslie discovered an affinity for music at an early age, studying piano, dance and theater. She also wrote poetry as a child and began to compose songs after high school

i listened to song of the songs, and i have to say that i really enjoyed it, considering it’s not what i usually listen too.  very romantic, and tasteful. you can hear more about them and listen to their music here. you can also see a video here

i’m always looking for a healthy snack, exspecially when i’m on the go with my kids. no worries though special k has a new healthy snack, thats not a breakfast.

special k has come out crackers to let you snack without feeling guilty. they come in two flavors multi grain and tomato basil

they come in a box, or you can get them in the to go pouches. a healthy snack on the run.  i like the tomato basil flavor, although it is still a little plain.

windows mobile smart phone

i don’t have a cell phone, probably one of the few in the world. to me they are to costly. if i did i’d want the best of the best, internet, phones are just getting to complicated so something thats comfortable to me.

i am doing a tour with the windows mobile smartphone. i’m so excited about it, if i had a phone this is the one i’d get. it works with windows, which i have always used, so i’d be more comfortable using it.

some of the features of the window smartphone is

games, they offer over 500 game titles. perfect if your ever stuck in a waiting room or something and need to pass the time.

check my email on the phone with microsoft outlook. convienant if your on the go.

so easy to transfer pictures from your phone to your computer. i hate lugging my big camera around everywhere, so thats definitly a plus for me.

keep appointments in order with the calander.

there are a huge variety of smartphones, but i would choose the samsung omnia. it’s part of the verizon network (can you hear me now) ha! i love that commercial! the omnia is touch screen mobile phone and combines features of a smartphone and digital camera into one. once again i love, because i hate lugging my camera around. having one on my phone would be so cool! it even lets you send photos to family and friends, post online or on my blog, even crop photos.it carries a 5.0 megapixel.

so i don’t use a cellphone, but if i did i would definitly go with a windowsmobile smartphone. it’s everything i need to stay organized and keep in touch with family and friends.

delgo movie review

i was so excited to be given the oppertunity to review a trailer of the new movie delgo. i really like animated movies and the messages behind them.

delgo is family friendly, and has everything you need in a movie to get your kids excited about seeing it.  a mystic land, a princess, a unlikely hero, action and adventure.

my fav. the message behind this movie is acceptance between different cultures.

the story of delgo takes place in the magical land of Jhamora wich is divided between two cultures. The Nohrin, winged masters of the skies, and the lockini, the terrestrial tribe who harness the mystical powers of the land. when delgo, a reckless lockini teenager forms a forbidden friendship with the spunky nohrin princess kyla hostilities between the two peoples esculate.  Setting the stage for an exiled empress to exact her revenge and reclaim her rule.

falsely imprisioned, and his best friend filomust put aside their differences to join forces with a sworn enemy, bogardus and travel to the mysterious land of perran to rescue princess kyla. here they encounter fanciful creatures and discover more than just a kidnapped princess, they learn the value of different cultures and the importance of working together.

the voice casting has some of the wonderful actors. like freddie prince jr., jennifer love Hewitt, Anne Bancroft, Chris Kattan, Val Kilmer, Kelly Ripa, Burt Reynolds,  Lou Gossett Jr. and Michael Clark Duncan.

baby einstein holiday blog tour

the holidays are always a hectic time. parents are working overtime, shopping, card sending, cooking and traveling with family. makes it hard for family time and exspecially young children.

baby einstein and mom central have teamed up this holiday season to encourage moms to spend some quality time with their young children. to incorporate meaningful moments of interaction and discovery with their babies and toddlers during the holidays.

i recieved the baby mozart 10th anniversary dvd, touch and feel baby animals board book, and lullaby cd.  i have to say my kids went crazy when i pulled these out. my kids have always been a fan of baby einstien. my 1 yr old didn’t really pay attention. my 2 and 3 yr old watched it over and over again.  the board book. was so fun and they loved the fact that you could actually feel the animals.  the lullabys cd was so comforting and relaxing. it helped put my son to sleep!

engaging in play and learning with your child, is important. baby einstein products are top of the line, and help achieve this goal everyday.
