Holiday: Frozen’s Olafs In Trouble Game From Hasbro #HGG14

*** Every weekend we try and have family time/game time. It’s our way of spending time together after busy week. The last few months our family time has been watching the movie Frozen over and over again. My children love that movie. So I started doing some looking around for Frozen themed games and toys.
We received Olafs in Trouble from Hasbro to try out. It is just like the original game trouble but with a frown theme. My kids couldn’t get enough of it.

The game is fairly simple my 6 year old is beating us all. The board features Olaf as well as Frozen characters,a nd so does the playing pieces. The game comes with stickers to put on the pieces featuring all your favorite characters.

Holiday: Get in the Spirit with DohVinci #HGG14

DohVinci is the newest craze from Hasbro. From the makers of play-doh, DohVinci is a 3-d design kit for kids.

I received the DohVinci Deluxe Styler tool to share with my kids. The deluxe styler tool come with 4 different design tp, to help you create the perfect design. Design tips include a star, heart, flower, and butterfly. Plus with the styler tool you get 3 deco pop colors.

My kids have been wanting DohVinci since I showed them pictures rom Toy Fair. They love Play-doh, but it’s to messy and they rarely ever get to play with it.
DohVinci is Play-doh made easy, as it is in a tube. It comes out through the slyer gun for easy designs, and litte clean up. The DohVinci compound will dry overnight, and you should be able to hang your picture on the wall. My daughter just loves it.

Some downsides to DohVinci: The Deco Pop tubes are very small, and my kids went through them in less than a hour. We also noticed that the designs we made started to crumble after a week, not to bad though.

The girls of Canterlot High are back, and this time they’re rocking guitars! In My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, Canterlot High (CHS) is hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts. A now-reformed Sunset Shimmer realizes that The Dazzlings may not be ordinary girls and are after something far more sinister than just being named Best Band at Canterlot High. The Rainbooms call on Princess Twilight to restore harmony to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell so that they can win a battle that now determines the fate of the entire school.

** My daughter is the biggest My Little Pony fan and she was super excited to hear about the new Rainbow Rocks movie and toys. So many new characters have been added, which means new friends and adventures. You still get to see the ponies though as the Equestria Girls call on Princess Twilight Sparkle to help them. My daughter keeps telling me this movie is much better than the first one and wants to watch it everyday.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks is now on dvd and blu-ray.

We received Adagio Dazzle and she is so pretty. Her orange hair and purple outfit just make her shine, you push her arm and she sings. When you put her hand up to another singing doll they sing together.

Help Induct Hess Toy Truck Into The Hall Of Fame #HESS

Hess Toy Truck is celebrating 50 years today. To celebrate Hess is asking fans to help get Hess Toy Truck inducted into the National Toy hall of fame.

The National Toy Hall of Fame was established in 1988 and is housed at the Strong National Museum of Play, based in Rochester, NY. Since its inception, only 53 toys have ever been inducted into its prestigious halls, following a strict nomination and evaluation process that begins in the spring and ends with final selections in November.

For a Toy to be inducted they must:

  • Icon-status: The toy is widely recognized, respected, and remembered
  • Longevity: The toy is more than a passing fad and has enjoyed popularity over multiple generations
  • Discovery: The toy fosters learning, creativity, or discovery through play
  • Innovation: The toy profoundly changed play or toy design. A toy may be inducted on the basis of this criterion without necessarily having met all of the first three.

We absolutely Love Hess Toy Truck, my son wants a new one every year. A new toy truck is released every year and has real life sounds and lights. It brings smiles and hours and hours of fun for my kids.

Easter Fun: Monster High Dolls Basket Ideas #MonsterHigh

Monster High is one of the biggest selling doll collections in the last year. We didn’t get into the fad the first year so we missed out on a lot of fun original dolls. I thought they were kind of weird and wanted to stick with happy pink Barbie, but after while Monster High’s message got out. It’s okay to be different and fabulous.

My daunters started playing with Monster High and it’s now their favorite toy.
I have learned the hard way now that dolls are so hard to find, and if you can find them it’s usually on Ebay for 3 times the retail price.

Monster High Slo Mo Is Finally Available

For weeks I have been seeing people post about finding the newest toy addition to Monster High “Sloman Slo Mo Mortivach”. I first saw him at Comic Con last year, and was so excited for the new edition.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find him in stores, most people have reported finding him at Walmarts.

He is finally available online for those who can’t find him in stores, at Toys R Us.

He is out of stock right now, but sign up for email alerts, as I am sure he will be in stock soon.
