Barbie and her dog Sequin jet off to visit her aunt’s amazing fashion house in Paris, when she finds out it’s about to be shut down forever. After she discovers three enchanting Flairies with sparkle magic powers Barbie comes up with a brilliant idea to save the business. She even inspires Marie-Alecia, a shy fashion designer, and together they create a dazzling runway fashion show. Barbie shows that magic happens when you believe in yourself.

****I know I say this about all the movies, but this Barbie movie is one of the bests.My kids and I really enjoyed it. Barbie’s life has been perfect until she is fired by her production company and then Ken dumped her. She runs off to paris to stay with her fashion designer aunt who is closing up shop. They find the magical Flaries who help then design some beautiful clothes to save the store. In the end they save the store, Ken gets back with Barbie and of course everything works out. In this dvd they also have some very cool extras, my favorite is learn the Queen of the waves dance from Barbie and A Mermaids Tale. They also have the music video for Queen of the Waves. Plus so much more.

****I actually found out that there was a Anytime Costumes shop right down the street from where I live now.   These costumes are so cute! The Princess Tiana costume is a perfect fit and so cute. My daughter was thrilled to be able to look like a princess.  The Hannah Montana costume was still really big on my daughter even though I got a size 4-6, she’s 5. She still loves it though and is thrilled to be dressing up as her favorite pop star (I don’t get it).

Gossip Girl Season 3 Fashions

Gossip Girl Season 3 has just been released on dvd August 24.  The characters in Gossip Girl always have the best clothes and are very fashionable. In the episode Nice Suit, everyone is al dressed up and Dan is very sophisticated in his suit.

In the episode Out Of Focus Serena is wearing a beautiful sundress, and is approached by Carter who is also looking good.

Mommy’s Little Helper

All 3 of my kids love to help me with chores. It’s funny they love to help me cook, clean the bathrooms and kitchen, but they hate cleaning their toys.

I snapped a pic of my little man helping me clean the toilet, it’s so cute.

She is upset that she hasn’t had a turn cleaning yet.

****This movie really got my kids excited about Halloween.  Watching how all their favorite characters celebrate Halloween and learning safety tips at the same time. My son really loved the Kai-Lan episode, and helping her figure out what to do. This dvd is great for getting your kids excited about Halloween.

****There are so many different types of Elmers glue it’s unbeleivable. Elmers is great for back to school, because its a trusting brand and you can find glue for any project.  My daughter will be starting school this year and needs 10 gluesticks, and a big bottle of glue. I thought that was crazy, but kindergarten is a lot of cut and paste.   The newest glue is the disappearing purple glue stick, goes on purple but dries clear, my kids like it a lot and the glitter glue too, my house has been a big art studio.
