My Class Essentials with My Boxtops for Education

Did you know that K-8 teachers spend $475 annually out of pocket to supplement their classroom needs. Box Tops for Education started a new program called My Class Essentials.

My Class Essentials is a free teacher registry that allows K-8 teachers to create a list of all the supplies their classroom needs, similar to a baby or bridal registry. Parents, friends and supporters can then view and purchase items off of their registry for the classroom or make a cash donation to the registry. The classroom benefits by getting 100% of the purchase and the school benefits by getting a 2% donation on every purchase.

This is a great cause, so please check it out. www.btfe.com/myclassesentials

3 Musketeers Truffle Crisp Candy Bar Review

I absolutely love 3 Musketeers candy bars. They are so good and I was so excited to find out that they were coming out with 3 Musketeers Truffle Crisp.

Description: Three Musketeers Truffle Crisp delivers a unique experience through twin bars of rich whipped truffle and elegant airy crisp, wrapped in real milk chocolate.

About 3 Musketeers brand-For the past 75 years, 3 MUSKETEERS has provided chocolate lovers a light and fluffy chocolate treat, with 45% less fat than the average leading chocolate brands.

**** To me the new Truffle Crisp doesn’t taste anything like the original 3 Musketeers.  You taste more of the chocolate and airy crisp, then the whipped truffle, which is my favorite part.  It is still very good and a great snack for those stressed out mom moments, or any other snack time. My kids loved it, in fact I left it out and they snuck a bar in their room and ate it.

here is a video of my kids first reactions

****My son loves Bob the Builder and even pretends he is building with Bob. What I like about Bob the Builder is he always instills good values in his shows/movies.   My kids love that he is adventurous and is always building new things in new places. This movie is no different, he actually is at the beach, which is perfect for the beginning of spring.  We loved this movie.

Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy book,cd, and video review

Description: Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy is about a boy named Jimmy who finds a special sea shell on the beach that talks to him.  His family likes the shell but they do not hear it talk. Jimmy is allowed to take the green and white shell home with him, and that’s when the excitement begins. Jimmy finds out his shell is home to a green dragon named Danny who bears red shoes and a yellow backpack. Danny also introduces his navigator Skipper who also crawls out of the shell. The family invites the to stay for dinner and then the night.  Danny tells Jimmy he can shrink if sprayed with water, so he is able to sleep in his shell. As they are ready for bed Jimmy asks where Danny has been in all his travels. Danny says goodnight, i’ll tell you some other time!

There are three great ways to share this book with your child.  You can read it aloud to them, read long with  the book on CD, or read along with the book on dvd. The book on Cd also has 10 classical songs for you to enjoy. The book on dvd features pictures and Sign language for the hearing impaired.

I was send a bunch of goodys for this book. I received the Danny the Dragon meets Jimmy book, Danny the Dragon Dreams CD, Danny the dragon meets Jimmy DVD, a Danny the Dragon pencil, Danny the Dragon bookmark, a Danny the Dragon Door hanger, and a Danny the dragon sticker. My kids loved this book, and were in anticipation to see what was in the shell. My 4 yr old really love following along with the book as the CD and DVD read along with her. I love the fact that it also uses sign language, great way to include the hearing impaired. This book is a great addition to any home library.

Retail:$8.95-$18.95 for book and cd on www.dannythedragon.com
